ESET License via ESET Online Store / Run by Nexway / Stay Away
Avoid purchasing / extending an ESET antivirus license from their online store managed by Nexway at ANY COST.
I purchased a license for 9 seats last year and then added one seat.
Suddenly this year my ESET showed that I only had a license for one seat.
I tried to solve this issue with the Nexway support but they were extremely unresponsive.
Finally I decided to buy an entirely new license for ten seats since I need to protect my computers and cannot wait for a month hoping someone competent solves the issue for me.
Then I applied for a refund for the remaining subscription time of the previously bought 9 seat license and 1 seat license.
Ten days ago the Nexway support promised to get back within 3 days and even though I followed up now for 3 times I did not get any feedback nor refund.
In the past, when I bought my ESET license via a local reseller in Hong Kong there was never the slightest issue.
I will for sure not extend my ESET license via Nexway (i.e. via the ESET home portal where the subscriptions are managed by Nexway) but only from a domestic reseller.
Reading the other comments here, it seems that defrauding customers by having a non existing or non-responding support is a systematic approach of Nexways to increase their bottom line.
