Avoid Nexus Auto Transport & Fastway Transport – Zero Communication, Broken Promises, No‑Show Carrier

I booked with Nexus Auto Transport on 5/11 after they quoted me $975 and told me they had a truck available for pickup on 5/12 for an expedited rate of $1,125. I agreed.
5/12 came and went with no pickup, no communication, and no updates.

I emailed and called multiple times with no response. When I finally reached someone on 5/13, they told me my order “wasn’t expedited,” which was completely false. Later that day they called back saying they had a truck available if I agreed to a higher price of $1,250. I agreed again just to get the vehicle moved.

Nexus then assigned Fastway Transport LLC with driver Celso Silva.
The driver never showed up, never responded to a single text or call, and Nexus never followed up with me despite promising to “contact the driver and call me back.” I waited all day — nothing. No pickup, no communication, no accountability.

At this point, I’ve wasted days, rearranged schedules, and dealt with constant misinformation. Nexus overpromised, upsold me twice, and delivered absolutely nothing. Fastway Transport was a complete no‑show with zero communication.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid Nexus Auto Transport and Fastway Transport. This was one of the most unprofessional transport experiences I’ve ever dealt with.

We moved across the country and Nexus transported our Mercedes G55 . They are very professional, and fairly reasonably priced. The driver they connected us with was reliable and communicated with us directly the entire time. We would definitely use them again!

I did a lot of research and reading reviews to figure out which company was reliable. Nexus was rated highly on both trustpilot and BBB, so I went with them. similar price to other companies that were much more annoying and seemed like scams/unreliable. they were very organized and responsive. driver was great and flexible. everything went as expected, no issues. would choose again

Nexus did a fantastic job with my car transport from Texas to Florida. Even though I had mentioned that there was no rush for the delivery. My car was picked up the next day. The driver was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, even providing GPS tracking. Customer service was top notch too, answering all my questions promptly.

Having never transported a car, I had no idea how it worked. I read up on it, contacted 3 companies, and went with Nexus. They were honest (very important to me) efficient, and as good as their word. Everything went as planned, the car got to Colorado without mishap, and it was definitely worth the money. I'd use them again. I was very happy with the service.

My experience with Nexus was utterly disastrous. I am moving across the country and gave them the last possible date my car could be picked up, though otherwise I was completely flexible. I called three times a day for the entire week leading up to the move, yet they failed to secure a driver. Each day, they assured me it would be picked up the following day, or promised to call me back, but they never did.

When my moving day arrived, they unbelievably suggested I leave my keys in the vehicle for a future pickup. If I hadn't been fortunate enough to have a coworker take my car in the interim, I would have been stranded. After a week of delays, they finally claimed they found a driver and then tried to charge me an extra $1,000 above my original quote!

I spent hours on the phone with customer support throughout the week; they were entirely useless and consistently jerked me around between associates without giving me any real assistance. The cherry on top of this horrific process was that when my car was finally delivered, it arrived at 1:00 AM on a Thursday night.

I would strongly advise against using Nexus for transporting a vehicle. Know that if anything goes wrong, they will completely abandon you!

Customers beware! Nexus takes zero responsibility for damage during transport and delivery. Scheduling was terrible, last minute charges of over $1000, and no one is paying for the cracked windshield. All they have done is ask me to sign a form stating Nexus is not responsible. Can’t believe these other good reviews!

Did an absolute amazing job, responded immediately, stayed in touch with me. Towed my car home the same night, and it was 2 and 1/2 hours away from my house. Would recommend to anyone.

Made a reservation a month in advance. They quoted me and gave me a (3) day pickup window. After hearing NOTHING for the 1st (2) days, I called and was told they can't find a shipper. After repeated calls, they found someone days after my scheduled pickup, and for almost double the quote. I would NEVER use this company.

The service was on time, at a reasonable cost, and with friendly communication...

The company quoted me $1700 for an enclosed trailer with a 3 day window to pickup from AZ to PA. I called them everyday in the window and they told me no issues we are just background checking drivers. They contacted me at 5PM on the last day of the window and told me they only had an open trailer and now the price is $1950. I had no other options as I was leaving. I should mention several other quoted me the lower pricing for opem $1000-1300, but I didnt have time to adjust. Total bait and switch!

I would highly recommend Nexus auto transport. I had experienced a nightmare with another company. I contacted Nexus in the early morning and signed a contract. Nexus picked up my vehicle that evening and transported it over 3000 miles in 4 1/2 days to my new address they communicated with me. It was such a smooth transaction. I would never think of using anyone else.

Awesome! Had 2 cars out of town, one got a flat tire and it was late Sunday. We had to drive home in one car and they got the other car home early Tuesday at the best price! Never had to do anything like that and they made it so easy!

I was very nervous about shipping my car across the country but Nexus and Mike, Edgar, and Mary were amazing. They were so helpful and nice. They made it such an easy process for me. From getting the quote to dropping off the car and being available to answer any questions, they did an amazing job. I’ve heard some bad stories about transporting your car but these guys are far from that. And the price was honestly in the same range as everyone else I was getting quotes from. I was happy with the price and the service. I would definitely refer them to anyone else and I will also be using them again if I ever need to.

reviews?! I booked based on these reviews and a Forbes review and am currently driving my car across country because they failed. I booked a month in advance, received a 5/8-12 window on 5/2 and that was the last I heard from them. I called every day and was told that the dispatcher was trying to find a driver. When I asked for updates they never called back. Finally on the day of my flight I got the service rep to admit there was no driver, so had to cancel my flight & will spend the next 4 days driving. No apologies or explanations-the worst!!!!!

After being scammed three times (yes, THREE and I even had to file a police report), I was extremely hesitant about shipping my car. This was my first time doing it, and I didn’t want to drive long distance and put miles on my car, so I decided to ship it instead. That decision turned into a nightmare until I found Nexus.

I called Nexus on a Friday morning and spoke with Jim. In my opinion he was just okay. At that point, I already didn’t trust any company, and while Nexus was a bit more expensive than others, I can confidently say: you truly get what you pay for. Learn from my mistake don’t go with the cheapest option and risk getting scammed.

They picked up my car that same evening around 9 PM just slightly outside the original window, which was completely fine. The driver, Victor, was kind, communicative, and professional. Ethan from logistics stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process, which really helped ease my anxiety. Very kind.

I was told my car would arrive on Tuesday but it actually arrived early on Monday morning!

The delivery experience was exceptional. The driver (I believe his name was Max) provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. As someone new to this process, I appreciated how patient and reassuring he was. He encouraged me to take my time inspecting the car and didn’t rush me at all. He even reminded me to check inside for my belongings before completing the delivery.

He went above and beyond after unloading the car, he parked it in a way that made it easy for me to leave without any hassle. That level of care really stood out.

Everything arrived in perfect condition.

I also interacted with members of the customer service team, including Jessica, and everyone was kind and helpful even though I came in stressed from my previous bad experiences.

Overall, Nexus completely came through for me when I needed it most. They communicate well, vet their drivers, and deliver on their promises.

My only suggestion: it would be helpful if they explained the process more thoroughly for first-time customers like me, especially for those unfamiliar with how car shipping works.

That said, they still deserve 5 stars. I would absolutely use them again (even though I hope I never have to move again because moving is stressful!). I will definitely do enclosed carrier rather than open.

If you’re reading this and unsure, just go with Nexus. You won’t regret it.

Reasonable price, friendly service, easy to contact when a question came up. When the original carrier had to back out because of a truck problem, Nexus found a new carrier in less than 10 minutes.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The communication throughout the entire transport process was excellent, pricing was fair, and delivery was right on schedule. The driver handled my vehicle with great care and kept me updated during transit, which gave me a lot of peace of mind.

The car arrived exactly as promised and in perfect condition. It’s hard to find companies these days that are both professional and dependable, but this team absolutely delivered. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone needing reliable vehicle transport services.

I would like to start off by saying this move across the country was extremely taxing and difficult. THE ONLY thing that went absolutely flawless was working with Nexus to deliver our car from San Diego, CA to Merritt Island, Florida! They were the absolute best in every way possible. From pick up to delivery, they communicated every step along the way with us, ensuring our vehicle got there without a hitch. Not only that, the guys at Nexus worked with us and our time adjustments… dropping off our car and sending pics of everything and trusting us to pay them bc we couldn’t make it there in time to receive the car. I will never use another company other than Nexus! We love you guys.. thank you for being honest and communicative, as well as flexible with everything. The price was the best out of any company and I would review 10 stars if I could! There are so many companies out there and if you’re trying to decide, hesitate no longer! This is your company!!!
