Thanks for sharing your feedback with us, Madeline. We're disappointed to hear the deals weren't beneficial to you. We do recommend booking deals as quickly as possible to ensure you get the best price possible, but we also look for deals with a wide time-frame of availability to help mitigate any time constraints on deals; that way there's a better likelihood members will find a time that works for both their budget and their schedule. The frequency of the deals does fluctuate, but our team is dedicated to sending out only the best deals available. We always choose quality over quantity, and we won't send a deal to your inbox just to send a deal, but we take the time to ensure it meets our standards and is a deal we would jump on ourselves!
As for our annual membership, we don't make an effort to be sneaky. The annual nature of the membership is shared before signup, in our Terms of Service, and mentioned again in our introductory emails. Members can cancel their subscription at any time directly through their account or with help from our support team, and there's also the option to turn off auto-renewal and set the membership to non renew. However, we're constantly working on improving our services, and we'll continue to work on this in the future!

Thanks for sharing your feedback, Sandy, and I'm so sorry to hear you feel this way. We put a lot of effort into our product and our customer service, and the last thing we want is for you to have a poor experience.
We don't currently offer phone support, but we have live chat available directly on our website M-F, 9AM - 5PM EST. Our team also responds to email inquiries within 24 hours. We weren't able to locate any previous emails from you under the information available to us, but you can reach us directly at help@nextvacay.com and our team will be able to assist you.
To clarify about our service, we are an annual membership, so we only charge $25 USD per year. If you live in another country, such as Australia or Canada, the amount debited will have your country's current exchange rate applied, so you may see a slightly higher amount than $25 USD debited. However, this has always been the case for members located outside the US and would have applied for the entirety of your membership.
And as I mentioned, we are an annual service, so you should not be seeing monthly or bi-monthly charges. However, if there is any problem with your billing, we'll be more than happy to rectify that immediately. Please contact us via our email or live chat with your information, and we'll make sure you're taken care of ASAP!

Update: Great news Sandy! We received your recent DM on Facebook and were able to locate your account, and it looks like this issue was already resolved last year! We weren't able to get in touch due to a block filed from your email address, but those transactions you're seeing from Oct and Dec should in fact be refunds. We've emailed all the details to your inbox but if you have any further questions you can contact us there or through one of our other support channels at any time!

I want you to know it does not accurately reflect our sentiments toward the travel agency community and all you do to help people travel more easily and affordably. We're deeply sorry for the upset and any harm caused, and upon feedback from our wonderful members like you, we have immediately pulled the ad.

I'm very sorry to hear you didn't find the deals to be very helpful and that they weren't what you were looking for. To clarify, the additional travel website you mentioned using offers a different set of services from our own, so that is one reason for the difference in deals that you received. Our website explicitly states that we are a flight deal alert service, and that we send those deal alerts directly to your email so you can go directly to the airline to book. To ensure our members are satisfied with our product, we offer a 30-day free trial period along with a 6-month money-back guarantee so members can request a refund of their first membership charge a full 6 months after being billed. Though travel has slowed in recent months, we are still looking for opportunities for our members to take advantage of further out and into next year and we are continuing to provide those opportunities to our members. We did not receive any complaints about the deals or our service and your subscription was neither canceled nor set to non renew, so it automatically renewed as stated in our Terms of Service.
You also mentioned that you reached out previously and attempted to cancel but never received a response from our team. As addressed in the conversation you had with our customer support representative on chat, no previous cancellation request was ever submitted under the info you used to contact us on October 7th. However, if you used a different email or info to reach out previously and request to cancel that is definitely something we'd like to address and fix for you. Please reach out and provide that information to our team at help@nextvacay.com so we can review and make sure that's corrected for you ASAP. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, Jen. We always appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
We are still continuing to find and send out deals and provide our service to our members, so that is why we are continuing to charge for membership. To clarify, we are not sending just any deals we find but specifically looking for deals that our members can safely take advantage of and can plan to take much further out if necessary, such as in the summer or fall of 2021. We're also finding those deals through airlines with flexible policies, so there are options in the event that a flight is canceled or you're no longer able to travel come your trip date.
Of course, we completely understand that even with these precautions, some members may not interested in traveling currently and with everything else going on, may wish to or need to stop their service until such a date in the future when they can travel once more. Members are free to cancel their subscription at any time or set their subscription to non renew if they don't wish to be charged for another year of deals. We understand you weren't pleased to be charged the annual membership fee, but as your subscription was still active and had not been canceled or set to non renew, you continued to receive our service and this is why the membership fee was charged. We did not receive any complaints about the deals or the service you received, so we were not aware of any issues.
