Personally I found that Steve was incredibly helpful in selecting a variety of careers that aligned with me. By the end of the session I felt confident in myself and the future ahead. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone wanting career guidance.

Great experience, Steve is very professional and encouraging, his advice really encouraged my son to plan for his future. Knowing now which steps to take he feels very at ease.

Steve provided career coaching for my 16 year old. They figured out her strengths and alignment with her interests to build a choice of career options and pathways. This was great for her confidence and our peace of mind that she was making the right decisions.

I spotted a post on LinkedIn that was very timely, my son and I had just been arguing the week prior about getting some help as he was stressing about his year 13 subject choices. We arranged to work with Steve, it was a straightforward process and my son enjoyed it. He came out of the face to face session energised, he certainly seemed more confident about the direction he is heading and enjoyed learning about himself.
Steve is very open minded, delivers feedback well and certainly met our expectations - it helped he asked what my objectives were before we started, so I could reflect on those when we got to the results. A worthwhile investment for my son's future!

Steve's course came at a great time as I considered stepping back into the workforce after maternity leave. With a young family at foot, it was such an important time to be very clear about my needs, boundaries and skillsets. The programme helped me pinpoint these requirements, which in turn helped identify jobs that would best fit my needs. Now happily employed, I'm looking forward to using other skills I learnt in the course to creatively consider future opportunities. Steve was very thorough and brought a wealth of knowledge. An undoubtedly terrific course.

This program has made an invaluable impact on my life. Never did I expect to learn so much about what makes me tick (values and strengths) and how to harness these things when it comes to making career decisions. Steve is a natural mentor and is so passionate about helping you succeed and get on the right path. I highly recommend this course and think vets all needed this while we were going through our tough uni degree and before working what can be a very taxing job. You literally cannot put a price on your future - and the only person who is responsible is yourself. Do yourself and your colleagues a favour and take the wheel on your career! I reckon 3 months of development outweighs 2/3 of your lifetime spent somewhere you may later regret - that's a worthy investment any day of the week!

Wish I'd done it sooner!
I had spent 18months feeling a bit stalled/underwhelmed with where I was career wise. Steve's professionalism and structure sets him above other options I had looked into. His practical and realistic approach to his coaching creates trust and understanding so that leaves you at the end of the course with real takeaways and actionable ideas. The more you put in and follow the process, I can promise you won't be left wondering if it was worth it.

I really enjoyed my experience doing the 12 week veterinary career development course with next step careers. I was exposed to heaps of resources and coaching sessions with Steve. He held me accountable, forcing me to step outside my comfort zone, to further my career and explore ideas and areas I hadn't previously. A year on I'm still finding the resources useful to come back to as I need them.

This course was really good and really helpful, as it helped me learn a lot about myself, including my strengths, my values, and taught me how to find career options that aligned with these strengths and values. I learnt a lot about improving my mindset and implementing good habits in my life. This course can help someone get out of a rut, and start living a rewarding, fulfilling life. I think everyone should do this course when trying to decide on a career, as finding meaningful work that one can thrive at, can be the difference between a happy life and an unhappy one.

He has helped me get to know myself better, understand my strengths and weaknesses and implement some strategies that will improve my life long term!
