Product details

The Nextbase microSDXC card is a U3 Ultra High Speed card, ensuring video data is written smoothly and allows the Dash Cam to capture the road ahead in full HD, 1440p or 4K quality. Included in the pack, the microSD-to-SD adapter allows you to easily read the files on your laptop or home computer. Nextbase Industrial Grade U3 microSD Cards are designed to ensure uninterrupted recording with a high number of write cycles. Non compatible SD Cards will corrupt, causing the Dash Cam to freeze, stop recording, or malfunction. With a capacity of 256GB, the microSD card will record approximately 37.7 hours* of HD footage before the Dash Cam overwrites the oldest recordings, or 26 hours* if using a rear-view module. This provides you with enough capacity to capture any incident and ensure you have the evidence you need. The U3 speed is required for 4K recordings and Dash Cams with Rear View Camera modules attached. Please note that this 256GB card is only compatible with the iQ, 522GW & 622GW Dash Cam *Recording time varies based on model, resolution & FPS

It’s a very expensive memory card. I also can’t see that it has any warranty on it and for, basically, £100 you would think it should have a long one. Also until you have an accident you don’t know that it is working properly (which is what nextbase say to encourage you not to use other manufacturers cards) so fingers crossed it is ok.

This is the second one I have had. A bit complicated to set up. Saves video it lots of small small bites, difficult to get a continuous video. Beeps every time I drive over a pothole..

Failed to format straight out of the packaging on 18th December 2025. I raised a ticket to notify customer services on 18th December 2025 and as of 16th January 2026 I am still awaiting a response from Nextbase to that ticket.
