Subscription automatically renewed but can't access it

My subscription to The New York Times was automatically renewed. I did speak with them to cancel, then thought better of doing so and wanted to read it. BUT I can't remember my password and although I am advised I'll receive an email with a verification code, I don't receive one. So far I've wasted over 40 minutes of my time

Never again

Never again. The only way I got out of this was to CANCEL my credit card. So sad 😞 I loved that publication.

So the New York Times is so progressive…

So the New York Times is so progressive and so left-wing, but they don’t even hire Americans to work at their call center. The Spanish speakers I have gotten don’t understand my accent and I don’t understand their accent.. It takes forever, It is a total joke..

Looks like the NYT sold its soul to the CCP

The New York Times has sold its conscience to serve the Chinese Communist Party. In its desperate attempt to gain access to the Chinese market, it has compromised its journalistic integrity and now echoes the CCP’s narratives. Once a beacon of free press, the Times is now willingly acting as the Party’s mouthpiece.

NEW YORK TIMES IS PRAVDA

EVEN MY LIBERAL FRIENDS JOKINGLY CALL THE NEW YORK TIMES- PRAVDA
THE TIMES HAS BEEN WRONG ON ALMOST EVERY ISSUE NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY FOR THE LAST 100 YEARS AND HAS CONSISTENTLY PROPPED UP MANY DICTATORS AND WHEN PROVEN WRONG, RARELY APOLOGIZES

Such a biased News should promote both…

Such a biased News should promote both parties not just the Democratic party always throwing lies and discord about Trump and treating Kamala like the savior which is ridiculous as she's just a puppet through the eyes of the world. Now New York times get your head out of her butt and make real News not one sided News to suit your agenda

You gotta be kidding me man!

The games are fun to do sometimes but they are so greedy! I want to keep playing spelling bee but after 5 words it says, Oh look! You are enjoying this game! Now pay us money or we'll not let you play anymore! On all of the HEAVILY based articles the adds make them almost unreadable! They are every 2 lines, and it looks like an MLG edit while just trying to learn what's actually happening. They give you the bare minimum of 1 play per game every day just to make you pay >$6 per WEEK, not month WEEK! It they made it free then it would be a lot more popular, and they would make a bunch of ads revenue, but I guess not! Now they can blow their cash on rainbow lights for 0.1% of the population and the rest of us normal people are unhappy!

Thanks for reading my rant. Hope y'all have a great day. I'm writing this straight off todays Spelling Bee because I was doing good and now, I can't play anymore.

The customer support is abhorrent

I've been in a constant struggle for almost 2 years now trying to get the New York Times to deliver to me. I've contacted customer support likely around 50 times and they still have done nothing. For a newspaper that is generally so good, it is incredibly sad that the New York Times still can't care about its own customers.

Impossible to deal with

Impossible to deal with. “Your subscription has expired. Resubscribe here” followed by “you are already a subscriber.” Their alleged “customer care” will only deal with you over the phone. “So we can securely take your credit card information.” Last year my phone call with them ended up with “All access” PLUS multiple separate subscriptions to “games” and “cooking.” Calls with “Customer We Don’t Even Pretend to Care” never straightened it out. Complete indifference.

Subscription cancellation nightmare

Subscription cancellation is impossible, I cancelled months ago and they're still charging me. Customer service is abysmal. I expect better for such a solid newspaper. Get your act together NYtimes.
