Newrest were fantastic from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with from Wendy in the office to the lovely gentlemen who came and collected our mum's body, was kind, dignified and respectful. Our mum passed at the beginning of the year and she had told us she wanted direct cremation. I found Newrest online and was surprised at how cost friendly their service was in comparison to many others especially the more well known companies. We were a little sceptical at first, but we needn't have worried. From the very start we knew we were in safe hands. Wendy was excellent all the way through and kept us informed at every step. We couldn't fault it. With probate and so many other things to deal with, having the funeral arrangements taken out of our hands was a blessing.
Highly recommended - very reasonable costs, good communication and very respectful, from the initial enquiry right up until the lovely gentleman came to the door and delivered the ashes. Even that was done in a professional and respectful manner.

Excellent, Expert and Cost Friendly
We purchased a Simple Funeral from New Rest after my Mother passed away.
New Rest were more cost effective than almost any other Funeral Director company, they offered more and were superb in every way. It's almost like they exist to help rather than profit. They handled everything with excellence and consideration. I just needed to focus on the things outside the funeral. They handled the rest. Absolutely recommended.

The service I received from Wendy and the team was phenomenal. Her attention to detail and care was truly touching. They went above and beyond to ensure my sister’s send off was special. I particularly want to send my heart filled thanks to Philippa the celebrant for her calm, respectful and beautiful manner in which she conducted the service.
