I have been using this model now for 8 years! It is beyond top notch in my opinion. I was a nurse for 30 years and then decided to go to law school. NLBM helped me learn how to do advanced estate plan... See more

I think NLBM is a model for how I want…
I think NLBM is a model for how I want to run my own estate planning business: honest, open, with a service first mentality, prioritizing self-care and family first and then business. I don't think I will find that in any other type of business coaching setting. It is holistic. It is about being our best selves so we can serve our clients in the best way. All that and still more: numerous coaching calls and support for the substantive legal aspects of estate planning, plus tools for communicating with clients and staff, tools for upscaling your business and strategies for hiring. Plus - so many tools for marketing estate planning - newsletter content, follow up emails. Plus a whole system for how to attract clients, be retained and following through on the service. Plus tools to address mindset, imposter syndrome, self-sabotage (so many of us do it). Just writing this, I am amazed at all the aspects it covers and it is still very heart centered. Thank you Ali and your team for a phenomenal service!
Long-Time Member Highly Recommends
I am an estate planning attorney in Arizona. I have been with New Law Business Model for about 8 years. They have helped me grow my practice by many times and have helped me learn how to build a firm. I strongly recommend this organization as they also align with my values in practicing law.
Excellent Experience
I've been a member of the New Law Business Model for 7 years and it's been instrumental in allowing me to transition from owning a title company to building a thriving estate planning practice. Their services have continued to grow in scope and quality during my membership and I especially enjoyed attending the in-person conference in Denver this past July. I would highly recommend exploring this group for anyone who would like to start a firm, practice estate planning and who is curious about the philosophical underpinnings to the existing trust and estate industry model and how we can innovate to provide a better service for our community and a better life for ourselves.
Thank you to Ai and her crew
I have been more than impressed with all that NLBM is and has to offer! I didn't sign ups at first because I wasn't sure it would be worth the expense but I have found that what I have gained has been invaluable and more than worth the investment. Having just passed my assessment after being a PFlit for three months I am looking forward to even more of the learning of the program and I am so n excited to really get my estate planning business up and going. Thank you Ali, Allison, Naleah, Noelle, Steph and all of the rest of the New Law Team. I appreciate you all.
I paid thousands for outdated videos…
I paid thousands for outdated videos and generic coaching, only to discover there are no refunds and endless upsells. This isn’t a “business model,” it’s a bait-and-switch.

It is a good model to get you started and it works!
They helped me get my act together and the model really works if you work it! I never dreamed people would pay that much for their estate planning and I stand corrected! They will and they do every day if you learn your content and take the training. I practiced 30 years before I started the model but we are making more now than ever before and it does work! Thanks for getting me started on the trust planning model!

NLBM is for REAL!
If you’re reading this and wondering whether the New Law Business Model (NLBM) is right for you—let me assure you, it absolutely is.
Like everything else, there’s a lot of conflicting and confusing information online, but NLBM cuts through the noise. Before joining, I had no background in trust and estate law. But in a remarkably short period of time, I gained the confidence and skills to represent clients—something I never thought possible so quickly.
Thanks to NLBM’s clear, easy-to-follow systems, I was able to generate tens of thousands of dollars within just the first two months. Even more rewarding, my clients love the service and have already started referring others.
For context, I’m a regular attorney with two decades of experience in another area of law, looking to expand my practice. I didn’t know where to turn for a solid, practical crash course in estate planning—until I found NLBM. I feel incredibly fortunate that the first company I chose to support me on this journey turned out to be the perfect fit—and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
“Trust” me—you can’t go wrong with NLBM. Hope this helps!

New Law Business Model Can Help You Have the Law Practice You Want
New Law Business Model was fundamental to building the Estate Planning practice I have today. The systems and processes are essential to running a profitable law firm and enjoying the work while you are doing it. It still takes work, but NLBM eliminates the need for trial and error. They have written the formula. Just follow their model. You will be amazed at the results. I have other practice areas that I have incorporated into my law firm. The best client experiences and most rave reviews in my firm are from estate planning because I follow the systems and processes I have learned from NLBM.
From business law to estate planning!
I first added estate planning to my business law practice in 2022 with the help of NLBM. It was hard at first because I had a busy business law and litigation practice. I persevered and dreamed of a more orderly and lucrative life. It is now April, 2025 and I am so proud to say that I booked over 50k in estate planning services in March and I’m no longer taking on new business law clients so I have time to grow the EP practice! I could not have done it without NLBM!
Ali is a game-changer

NLBM is exceeding my expectations
I am new to NLBM, having started 3 weeks ago, but they are already exceeding my expectations. I have been practicing law for nearly 20 years, and I am skeptical of the various programs and services that promise to give me new clients or increase my productivity or otherwise improve my business. As a solo practitioner, I receive so many solicitations that I almost reflexively dismiss and delete them.
When I started seeing NLBM ads on YouTube, I initially lumped them in with all the rest, figuring that they were just another spamming company, filling up my junk folder, making big promises but delivering nothing. But the ads kept showing up, over the course of several months I must have heard Ali Katz say "they said I would starve" at least 200 times. That got my attention, and I thought, at best NLBM was a start-up company that had some investors (because running that number of YouTube ads over that length of time isn't cheap), at worst it is a scam.
That said, the thought of "serving families in my community" aligned with my values, and what NLBM was claiming to offer was a better way of practicing law. I have a fairly broad range of experience, but the majority of my practice/experience is related to litigation, and the fact is that dealing with opposing counsel and the various personalities that come with the litigation territory, not to mention the stress and time-consumption of the actual work, is no longer appealing to me.
So, I decided to take a peak behind the NLBM curtain. I scheduled a call and started the process of really taking a look at what they are offering. I also conducted my own due diligence. I read the online reviews, I spoke with attorneys who are familiar with the world of law business coaching, I interviewed current NLBM members, I evaluated NLBM's competitors, and asked my point of contact at NLBM dozens of questions. I learned quite a bit about NLBM, including that they have a long track record of success, that they are not a newbie to this field. Based upon my research I was able to reach two primary conclusions: (1) it was not a scam; and (2) NLBM could help me.
I am still new, but I have dove in with two arms and a leg. NLBM offers a real curriculum. I am learning a lot, and the content is well produced and highly informative. There is an attention to detail that NLBM offers that, as a former Marine, is very appealing to me. I have done some trusts and estates work, but through 3 weeks I have learned a lot. I still have a ways to go, but it is so clear to me that this program is going to work, that I am going to have a successful practice serving families in my community.
And it is not just the standard curriculum that is so helpful, there are opportunities to join coaching calls every single day that are attended by attorneys who are genuinely supporting each other. NLBM is not just teaching me how to draft estate-planning documents, they are coaching me to be an altogether more effective lawyer, and they are helping me build the type of practice that becomes a pillar of my community.
Everybody who I have encountered at NLBM (and that is quite a few people at this point) have been entirely kind and helpful. It is a truly inspired program.
Business Strategy and Beyond
Working with NLBM has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my business and personal growth. Their guidance is not just theoretical—they bring real, actionable strategies that have made an immediate impact on my success. From day one, those at NLBM I worked with took the time to understand my challenges and helped me implement systems that streamlined my operations, increased my revenue, and reduced my stress.
What truly sets NLBM apart is their ability to combine business knowledge with a personalized approach. They do not offer cookie-cutter advice—they tailor every strategy to my unique goals. Their insights on marketing, client engagement, and long-term growth have been invaluable.
Beyond business strategy, NLBM has helped me shift my mindset, giving me the confidence to take bolder steps and push past limiting beliefs. Their encouragement and accountability keep me motivated, and their support is unwavering.
Coaching and community for Estate Planning
Ali and her team (shout out to Kevin, Ariel, and many more amazing people) have seen us through several different stages of growth in our firm and have provided actionable advice as we pushed through each one. It is a thoughtful approach for any estate planning law firm to consider. Coaching, support, and a community of like-minded practitioners are there to help guide your evolution from a true solo through to a staffed practice, and beyond.
NLBM: A Game-Changer for Estate Planning Attorney
I cannot recommend NLBM enough! Their program has been absolutely essential in helping me build my estate planning business. The guidance, resources, and support they provide have been extraordinary, and I honestly couldn’t do what I do without them. I credit my fast-paced success directly to NLMB and the clarity it’s given me to grow my practice with confidence. If you’re looking to build or grow your estate planning practice, NLBM is it!
Love my NLBM Community
I started with NLMB in 2019 and can not express my gratitude for making the leap. The community of both experienced and new attorneys is amazing and so supportive of each other. NLBM business coaches are also so knowledgeable and want to support law firm growth. The knowledge and growth about how to run a practice is invaluable.
NLBM -- Providing the tools and support to help you GROW!
NLBM has provided me with the knowledge, tools, and support to take my law practice beyond what I ever thought possible.
I started my solo practice in 2017 after spending four years in a law firm and two years as a trust officer. Following the challenges of 2020, I found NLBM when searching for ways to generate more leads and become less reliant on referral partners or clients coming by "word of mouth." Through their online curriculum, group and individual coaching, and other support systems, I reshaped my practice and fell in love with the law again!
Since joining, I have been fortunate enough to enjoy steady success, growing yearly (averaging over 30% growth each year) beyond what I envisioned for my practice, all while doing what I love! With a little hard work and discipline, the sky is the limit for what you can accomplish with the guidance of NLBM!
NLBM helped make the difference!
I have been with NLBM since late 2022, coming from a multiple area law practice with no real focus. Learning estate planning and developing a structured business with the guidance and support of NLBM has been a huge impact for me! I’m still growing and learning and excited about the journey. The 1st WEEK of 2025, I had $17K in sales and provided excellent legal support for my clients!
