Please people be very careful ordering from this company.
I ordered multiple blinds from this company and each blind has an issue from wrong size clips to a black blind with a anthracite surround when I ordered 3 anthracite. Who checks these blinds before posting to customer because I'm sure different colour blind and surround would stick out?
Check the small print as perfect fit blinds are not returnable nor can you cancel even if you are made to wait 3 weeks before being manufactured.
Delivery is a nightmare they blame everyone from the manufacturer or courier never their own fault.
Please beware this company is not trustworthy they offer discounts but it still isn't worth the hassle with this company.

On 3 March 2026 I ordered a Brushed Gold 28mm Ball Fixed Length Metal Curtain Pole from New Edge Blinds (NEB) via Debenhams. It arrived three days later in a transparent box that was split on the side and loosely taped at the ends with tape labelled “fragile,” which was rather ironic given how poorly it had been packaged.
When I inspected the item, I discovered the gold finish on the finials was scratched. Because the product arrived damaged, I immediately requested a refund and a home collection, as I am housebound.
Following the instructions on the Debenhams website, I contacted NEB directly. They offered to replace just the finials, claiming this would be more convenient than returning the entire pole. I declined because the damage suggested poor finishing and durability, and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and free from defects when delivered. In short, replacement would not solve the underlying issue that the quality of the product is cheap.
The retailer repeatedly described the damage as “cosmetic” and suggested I either keep the item or pay for the return myself. This is incorrect. When an item arrives faulty or damaged, the retailer is legally responsible for the return costs, regardless of their business policies.
I also requested a home collection as a reasonable adjustment under the Equality Act 2010, since I cannot travel to a drop-off location.
After numerous emails and no resolution, I informed them that if the issue was not resolved within 15 days, I would request a chargeback through my debit card provider, which is the minimum time I must wait before disputing a transaction. When the deadline passed without a solution, I proceeded with the chargeback on 21 March.
I also contacted Debenhams’ escalated complaints department and provided evidence of the damage and correspondence. NEB supposedly arranged a collection for 18 March, but no courier arrived, as I had expected. I was later told another collection would be made as an urgent priority and to allow NEB 48 hours to respond, but again nothing happened.
On 26 March Debenhams decided to issue a full refund including delivery after NEB failed to communicate with the complaints executive and advised that if they did not arrange collection by 31 March, I could dispose of the item.
If they do not collect it, I intend to donate the pole to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruolty to Animals rather than throw it away.
Advice to other consumers:
If a product arrives damaged, keep photos and copies of all correspondence. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to reject faulty goods and the retailer must cover the return costs. If a retailer refuses to cooperate, you can escalate through your bank via a chargeback and, if necessary, pursue the matter through small claims. Hope this helps.
Edit:
To be clear to anyone who has read this far, they repeatedly tried to get me to accept a replacement, citing that it would be easier “for me”.
Their idea of assistance was to arrange a home collection on my behalf which they expected me to pay for. This is what they said in their email and I quote “Unfortunately, we do not provide or arrange home collection services. Returns are normally arranged by the customer using a carrier of their choice. Many courier companies offer collection from your home address, which may be suitable in your circumstances.” Not in the case of a faulty product though, which they refused to accept liability for despite photographic evidence.
It took Debenhams to step in and make them arrange a home collection which they failed to do. Neither the name of the courier nor tracking number was provided. They had 48 hrs to arrange another collection and they didn’t do it. So don’t come up here and say that you tried, because you didn’t.
When it was obvious that even Debenhams couldn’t get them to do what was asked of them, I was refunded in full and notified that if NEB wanted their item back they would have to contact me directly. It’s 28 March 2026 and they still haven’t bothered to arrange a home collection with me, but still had time to send this bs reply on trustpilot. Yah damn right I got my money back and I still have your scratched up curtain pole until Tuesday. Now what? I hope DBZ drops you from their marketplace since you seem to have a track record of selling items that aren’t as you describe them to unsuspecting customers thinking you can get away with it. You picked the right one.
Edit 2 : How many times must a customer be offered a replacement before you finally accept their request for a full refund and a home collection for a faulty product? You’ve wasted enough of my time. Like you said, case closed.

A good company to work with, great communication, and very helpful.
After ordering my blinds I changed my mind, and they bent over backwards to accommodate this.
The blinds are of the highest quality and are super easy to fit, and delivery was very prompt.

Great website, great choice of curtain pole varieties and lengths at ok prices.
We ordered ten curtain poles in total.
Although they are all now fitted and in use I am amazed they are not damaged due to the awful packaging condition they arrived with.
Boxes weren’t secure, box ends missing with contents loose on the floor of the delivery van.
Thankfully most of the parts were recovered albeit missing some grub screws which secure the poles to
their brackets, which I will now have to source elsewhere.
So, all in all, good website and ordering process, but packaging quality was awful.

Fantastic customer service from New Edge Blinds. I accidentally ordered the wrong sized pole. They were happy for me to return and give me a refund. Their communication was excellent and I was really pleased when the new pole came.

I bought a gorgeous taupe wave curtain pole and not like these flimsy ones it’s quality. What’s more impressive is the service and response I have received from New Edge Blinds. Their service is outstanding and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I emailed struggling, instant response with clear help and support. Emailed again, and received patience, support and help. Definite 5 star rating

The only company I could find that done blinds above 180cm reasonably priced. I like how the sizes increased by 5cm which meant we didn't have to cut any blinds down as well. The communication from the company is brilliant they responded to my queries out of hours as well as helping sort an exchange out (which was my fault)
I would recommend this company and will use them again if needed. Thanks for all your help.

Purchased a bed sheet from this company through Tesco Marketplace and it was a disaster from start to finish. Bought on 22nd January and took almost a month to arrive. Immediately I saw it was not the colour I ordered or what was advertised. I requested an immediate return but had no response so posted it back myself on 24th February. It took another two weeks to get a refund. Tesco Marketplace was most helpful, however, Newedge Blinds tested me to the limit with numerous time wasting emails and were most unhelpful, even to the point of saying they didn't sell the item colour I wanted, even though it was clearly shown on their advert pix and text stating the colour. To sum up: I would never buy anything from them again, it's not worth the stress or the amount of time spent emailing back and forward. Good Customer Service is key but I'm afraid I feel very let down by this protracted experience. I can't fault Tesco Marketplace for intervening to ensure I received my refund in full.
