THIS IS A SCAM

All reviews on their website are fake! There is nowhere to leave a review. They’re trying to scam trip advisor by labelling reviews as harmful or illegal content. Disgusting immoral people who run this ‘operation’ to steal from people. No instructors accept their vouchers!

Don’t give them your money…

What a very disappointing experience we’ve had with this truly awful company, bought an £100 voucher for our grandson for a Christmas present, due to the times he could not find a driving instructor within two days of his 17th birthday, this awful company would not honour the few days of the six month date on the voucher. We have emailed them and explained the situation but they refused to extend the date of the voucher, in my eyes they have still got our hard earned pension as we had to save up to get our grandson his Christmas present, don’t give them your money, we now have to save up to give our grandson his belated Christmas present from last year. awful and very unsympathetic company, don’t touch them with a barge pole,

SCAM! Stay away they wouldn't honour our vouchers which were only 8 days out of the date. My son was nervous about starting lessons and when he did book one - they wouldn't honour any of the voucher. Total scam!!

Driving Lesson Gift Voucher

November 2023.

- Purchased driving lessons voucher as a Christmas gift for my grandson. I bought the voucher in good faith and here follows the hoops we went through.

1 March 2024

- My Grandson tries to redeem voucher to help pay for driving lessons. Driving Instructor works for a registered driving lesson company but says he can't accept voucher, not heard of the scheme.

Early March 2024

- I contact the company trying to redeem the voucher.

- New Driver Programme request that I provide the receipt that the driving instructor is giving lessons to my grandson.

8 March 2024

- New Driver Programme replies back saying the receipt saying the person paying for the lessons so far (my son) doesn't match the person receiving the lessons (my grandson) and refuse to pay.

- We reply back and explain the family relationships.

12 March 2024

- New Driver Programme request a screenshot of my son's bank account, to ensure that the transactions paying for lessons have gone through. i.e. that the receipt is valid.

15 March 2024

- My son complains that this is excessive - a company shouldn't be requesting screenshots of a bank account

- They reply back and say they need it or will decline the redemption

- We provide the screenshot

21 March 2024 - New Driver Programme decide not to redeem the voucher and ask for the receipt and screenshot to be provided on a web form.

25 March 2024 - I try and fail to get the web form to work and write another email to complain

2 April 2024

- My son emails to complain as we have had no follow-up

- New Driver Programme reply back again, asking for the (broken) web form to be filled in.

- My son gets the web form working and fills it, with all the details already provided.

3 April 2024

- The web form is rejected with the spurious reason that my grandson isn't the account holder of the bank. (Note, he's not 18 yet and doesn't have a regular deposit bank account)

- My son complains saying that these are the correct details.

8 April 2024

- New Driver Programme reply back and say they'll get management to review within 10 days.

19 April 2024

- My son emails to say there still hasn't been a response.

- New Driver Programme reply back to say, they meant 10 business days, not calendar days.

23 April 2024

I am now giving a review on TrustPilot complaining that New Driver Programme is clearly a scam and has no intention of returning the money.

Excellent service

My pupil presented me this voucher, I checked that it was in date, and then used the redeem function yesterday evening and the monies were in my bank by 9pm that night. Great service and very, very easy to use.

Complete lies!

Complete lies! They state the vouchers will be accepted by all registered driving instructors. I have contacted over 12 and all have stated they do NOT accept the voucher. It was eventually returned to me by the family member I had gifted it to. When I contacted the company to request a refund, based on their false advertising, they simply stated ‘it has passed the refund policy’.
I am now escalating through an ombudsman.
Please do not waste your time and money falling for this scheme as I did. I regret not simply giving the cash to my niece in an envelope instead. A joke of a company!

Fantastic service

Fantastic service. The first time I have used this company as a driving instructor to redeem a customer's driving lesson voucher. Very easy to use and the money was paid into my bank account within 30 minutes of redeeming the voucher. Very fast and efficient. Thank you.
