My teenage daughter had a sailing
accident leaving her with Persistent Concussion Syndrome. She experienced debilitating symptoms across a range of systems. Dr Jake’s deep expertise in this area and his interest in his patients meant he took the time to complete a comprehensive assessment of her and constructed a specialised treatment plan that included neurological rehabilitation and low level laser therapy as well as excercises we could carry out at home. Having previously been told by a number of Consultants that she would have to live with her symptoms within weeks of following Dr Jake’s treatment plan she went from being unable to stand unaided with high levels of nausea and multiple other complications to seeing a significant reduction in her symptoms. The improvement was so significant she was able to take a short trip abroad shortly after starting his plan, something that was inconceivable prior to seeing him. We are so thankful we found Dr Jake and would encourage anyone suffering from any degree of concussion to use his services.

I have suffered severe headaches and have had ct scans and a lumbar puncture. Once there was nothing sinister found, the answer was just get on with it and take paracetamol. I looked for somebody to help and was so lucky to find Jake. After a couple of weeks of laser treatment, I couldn’t believe it! My headaches are so much better. I was referred to Jake Cooke with what I thought was Sciatica. After an assessment he explained that it was Bursitis. As part of the treatment he used the Low Level Laser Therapy which did wonders for my pain. I have received such good care every session and very good explanation of the exercises I can do to build up the muscle. I would also add that the booking of the session is very professional and it is easy to see when he is available. You will always get a reminder of the session the day before. I am so grateful for these sessions and would definitely recommend Jake Cooke to anyone.

Having suffered from BPPV and not knowing what it was, I am very happy to have found the Neuro Muscular Clinic. Jake (Chiropractor) explained what this annoying condition is, how it can be treated and the exercises that I can do to continue a normal and active life. My treatment is covered by my private insurance policy. I have had 4 sessions and already feel back to normal. It is reassuring to know that the treatment is easy, and should I suffer from this again, I will not be frightened or anxious.

Jake at the Neuro-Muscular clinic is professional and very knowledgeable in his field. He diagnosed my back issues and BPPV. He formalised a treatment plan for the back which targets the cause rather than just dealing with symptoms, along with treating the BPPV. I would highly recommend the clinic and Jake. They are genuinely there for the clients health and wellbeing.

I found the Neuromuscular clinic by chance on the internet . After speaking to Jake I felt like it was the best fit for myself suffering from vestibular Migraines . The clinic is very nice and welcoming and I felt immediately comfortable. Jake knew exactly how I was feeling and I have been seeing him for about 4 visits now and I am feeling much better but still I have work to do . I would recommend this clinic hands down .

Jake treated me for a frozen shoulder. I had already had an MRI scan and my private surgeon told me there was a 50/50 chance of a successful operation. I didn't like those odds so went to see Jake. I've had a pretty tough couple of years trying to get a breakthrough with a neck disorder I've got called Cervical Dystonia. Jake's been brilliant - I've made significant progress with him, and while there's still a lot to do, it's his care that's making the difference (a lot of previous treatment hasn't got me anywhere!).

I went to see Jake after experiencing back problems in 2020 where my back was in spasam 2/3 times an hour. Jake managed to make a few adjustments to my back in one session which pretty much instantly reduced the amount of pain and amount of spasams occurring. With regular routine appointments with Jake I haven't had any issues since nearly a year and half later.

I recently visited the clinic in New Malden as I was suffering from acute BPPV. Jake was able to pinpoint the cause of my condition immediately and clearly articulated the required cause of treatment.
