Servers were still semi-up, but nobody replied, and I had to do a paypal chargeback since they charged me money but were no longer hosting my website.
Seems to be a ghost ship on the internet now

Complain to paypal, NetworkPanda should be stoped from charging annuities. Not everyone will complain and they will keep doing money.

All my sites have been down for weeks

I noticed one of my websites was down a few weeks back. Checked other website I host on NP...none were working. Tried to contact support but ticket system was down.

Three weeks on and none of my sites are back, my cPanel still doesn't work and Network Panda support still down.

Should be called Network Monkey... pay peanuts, get monkeys!

AVOID!

ZERO stars

ZERO stars. I've had about 10-15 tickets in the last five years with them. Most dealing with me needing to whitelist IPs so my site works again, even though IPs on my end didn't change. Now, since July 17th, my site remained down as ny6.networkpanda.com still isn't resolving. Since I've now gotten fiber to my home and my site is non-complex, I've just reverted to hosting my site myself with a PC using an SSD hard drive and I have no issues. Hey Network Panda... how about refunding the 1 1/2 years I have left!? I'd ask via a trouble ticket, but that still seems broken on your site and I've no other way to communicate. Thanks.

Quick support that responded to my help request in exactly 6 minutes even a Saturday night. Fast loading WordPress site even with lots of plugins and a theme fully loaded with graphics, Javascript and CSS. Higher than 99.9% uptime as per Uptimerobot and pingdom.

Outstanding service

I have been using lots of web hosts over the past years and I have found NetworkPanda to be one of the top thanks to their fast servers quick support and fully featured client area and cPanel. So far opened only 4 tickets in 2 years.

Ticket #1: Asked them to migrate my cPanel account from old host. Done in 45 minutes. DNS propagation completed fast.
Ticket #2: Asked them to change the PHP version of my account because I had some issues with an old PHP script. Done in 6 minutes my script started working perfectly. They kindly informed me that the PHP version can also be changed from cPanel for my convenience.
Ticket #3: I somehow managed to delete a lot of files because I was trying to do some cleanup on my old host but by mistake I had connected with FTP to my new Networkpanda hosting I didn't notice this. So I deleted recently updated files on my Networkpanda account. They restored the files for me from their own backups in 10 minutes. Awesome.
Ticket #4: Asked them how to set up remote MySQL connections because I needed to manage and backup my databases from my local computer. They promptly helped and remote MySQL was working after a few minutes.

While handling these 4 tickets they were so patient and polite with me. Now I am 2 years there and my account and sites have been working perfectly.

Worst hosting experience EVER

Stay away from this piece of crap! They say server uptime over 99% but the reality is more like 50%. Making updates in WP might even crash whole server - Yay... They even took the tickets away so have fun trying to contact support.

very good experience

I own a Wordpress based site that receives thousands visitors daily and it works perfectly never experienced any problem. Both the frontend and the WP administrator dashboard work fast. They also migrated the site from my old host for me in less than 1 hour. Impressed!

Dysfunctional webhost

The first red flag should have been that when you sign up with networkpanda, they don't even list the hostname to access the FTP or MySQL for remote access. I spoke with their support team who gave me roundabout answers about how to "resolve my problem" with setting up my remote database access, which never successfully connected. This host should NOT be in business when their services DO NOT work.

For those of you who want to know what the HOSTNAME actually is for the New York server location, despite what the support team tells you it's definitely not "ny3.networkpanda.com" the PHPMyAdmin plugin CLEARLY says "ny3.server40.info" and neither of these hostname settings work.

I've setup various remote connection databases over the years and this is the first time I've been unable to have one work. Worst web host experience, I've ever had.

Edit: Since you can't respond to replies, this is the only way.

The company that refunded the money below me only did so BECAUSE I wrote this review, their normal operating hours for refunding are Monday - Friday, where this event took place on Saturday. The only thing that refund was, was a "good faith" reaction to cover a serious problem. The seller also decided to delete the login account without saying anything or responding to either of the remaining tickets and left a nasty response in Paypal about "Defamatory posts". I should let you know, if you want a host that actually works and doesn't cost you any money for database hosting, just use game server hosts with web hosting options. At least you get the remote database access and just use a subdomain.

Choose to believe me or the company with approximately "2000 hosted websites" for several server locations and some questionable glowing blog reviews that are claimed to be "coincidental".

Reply from Network Panda Web Hosting

The user was trying to set up a remote MySQL connection from 2 remote servers towards our server. The MySQL service on our servers is working fine, we had whitelisted the remote servers on our firewalls and remote MySQL connections are working fine for any other customer on our servers.
The problem was that the connections were blocked on the other end. The firewall on the remote servers was blocking outgoing connections to our servers. This was not a problem on our end. However the customer has been fully refunded.
ny3.networkpanda.com and ny3.server40.info are the same server, both of them resolve to the same IP address, so using either of them works. Also, the server hostname for FTP & MySQL connections is sent to the users with the activation message and can be found any time in the client area, "My Services" -> "Welcome message" section.

2 years customer and very happy with the service

I am their customer for 2 years hosting web sites for my and my wife and all I can say is that we are very happy with Networkpanda and their uptime and support. Uptime Robot and Pingdom both report an uptime between 99.99 and 100% each month and 3 times I contacted their support for minor requests they replied in only 5 minutes. Also the servers are fast and my Wordpress sites load in fractions of a second.
