I purchased an engine from NearParts in May 2024 and paid over £3,200. Shortly after, I was asked to pay two additional amounts for insurance, totaling more than £6,300 overall. Despite following all instructions and making the payments, I never received the engine.
Since July 2024, I have been requesting a refund. NearParts has continually delayed the process, claiming third-party issues and internal reviews. Over the past year, I have received numerous conflicting responses and no clear proof of refund.
Communication was inconsistent, and I felt misled and ignored throughout. I have now taken legal steps, and I’ve reported the matter to consumer protection services.
This experience has caused significant financial and emotional stress. I sincerely hope others will be cautious before trusting this company.
