Whoever is in charge of their stock inventory either needs massively retraining or sacking. I placed an order worth £125+ and then had radio silence for almost a week. Emailed them to ask when my order would be shipped and was told it would be the following day, as there was an issue with items by a single supplier being out of stock. Annoying but ultimately fine as I really wanted the items I had ordered (weirdly enough…) Shipping email comes through the next day… with seven items, from a different supplier, missing. All items still showing as available to purchase on their website. Email to ask what’s going on - silence. Rather than reply to me and explain how I was able to place an order for multiple items that clearly weren’t in stock (which they happily took my money for over a week earlier), they ignored me and refunded the missing items.
Items that did arrive were great but the overall experience was poor (but at least I didn’t have to chase them for my refund). Vegan businesses are struggling to stay around at the moment and if this is how they’re behaving, it’s not hard to see why. Don’t let people order items you don’t have in stock and don’t have the items showing as available if you don’t have them, it’s not hard.

I ordered from NAVESU for the first time recently as no other retailers had ‘Follow Your Heart Sriracha Veganaise’ in stock. I ordered extra items (agave, rice, maple syrup, normal mayo) that I could have bought on my usual weekly delivery slot to justify the £6.99 delivery charge. It was the Sriracha I was desperately needing.
I was then emailed to say it’s not in stock, but they hope it will be soon, so my order will be late. No apology.
I was patient. One week later I emailed asking for an update. I was told it’s not in stock and neither is the maple syrup now either, but they’ve dispatched the order without those items. I was disappointed that they didn’t contact me before dispatching the order, as I would have told them to either wait until they had the Sriracha, or to refund the order entirely. I emailed them stating this. No reply.
Today I opened my order to find that the Follow Your Heart normal veganaise goes out of date next month! I ordered 4 jars to make use of the extortionate delivery charge, and now I have 5 weeks to eat 4 jars of mayo. This is appalling.
I tried calling the phone number multiple times, but it just goes through to email, so I emailed them and got a response saying they’re not prepared to offer a refund. It read:
Dear Joanne,
Thank you for your email.
I’m sorry that you’re disappointed by the length of time you have remaining to consume the product, but unfortunately this is the stock we have currently and we have not had any other complaints.
We do not ask our customers how they will be using the product, so whether a customer purchase 1 or 10 jars, the use by date would be irrelevant. We serve a lot of small businesses, including cafes and restaurants, so when we despatch goods, we ensure that the customer has at least 4 weeks to consume it.
I’m sorry we’ve disappointed you with your order this time, but unfortunately I do not see any reason to refund you for this order.

Firstly, I’m not a business, so I’m not sure what their other customers have to do with me. Secondly, I’ve since seen other reviews of people complaining about the date of their products and they were told ‘we don’t believe you….’. Clearly these people are scammers.
I just went on to their website. The Sriracha is STILL not listed as out of stock on their website. It also says that they’ve suspended trading due to a fire at their supplier’s warehouse.
I have never felt more conned in my life. Disappointed is an understatement.
Whatever you do, don’t order from these people. I’ve since read multiple terrible reviews. I only wish I’d done my due diligence before ordering. Lesson learned. Head over to Planet Organic for a far better service.

Worst online experience in a long time. I was super-excited when I heard about the brand but very disappointed in reality.
Forgot to mention the delivery was made to the billing address and not the delivery address - not sure if that was DPDs fault. Also as I don’t use Asda little point in me sharing my ‘expertise’ - just your average vegan trying to purchase sustainable products.
