Prosessional and friendly service. Quick with paper work and explained ecolvwrything well. Would have had 5 stars but communication lacked a bit when arranging pick up of vehicle.

Handover was easy and fast but the vehicle preparation was extremmely minimal. Petrol was almost on empty and coolant fluid light came on after 3 days. Not a good look.

DO NOT waste your time, money, or life energy buying a car from these cowboys.
TL;DR: Steer clear of National Car Hub if you value your sanity and your wallet. They’ll smile, take your money, then disappear—leaving you to deal with the wreckage.
I purchased a used vehicle from National Car Hub in November 2024, and calling it an unmitigated disaster would be an understatement.
Despite their assurances that the car had undergone a full service and MOT before I paid the deposit, I drove off the forecourt only to be greeted by an immediate “oil change required” warning. Within days, the engine management light came on. After thorough checks by a local Ford Service Centre local to me (I'd travelled more than 100 miles to purchase the vehicle from NCH), the engine was condemned entirely. A replacement would have cost nearly as much as I’d paid for the car.
It turned out the vehicle hadn’t been serviced for years—the last recorded service (before their evidentially falsified entry) was back in 2020.
Whether through negligence or deliberate deceit, National Car Hub sold me a car riddled with catastrophic faults, none of which were disclosed at the point of sale.
When I contacted Aftersales, I was met with meaningless platitudes, blame-shifting (apparently it was my fault for not having a sixth sense), or outright silence. I was partway through the small claims court process when, ironically, the car was written off in an accident—mercifully sparing me from further dealing with this nightmare.
I cannot stress enough: do not trust this company when buying a used car. Having since bought a replacement vehicle from a different dealer, the contrast in professionalism and honesty couldn’t have been starker.
AVOID this dealership like the plague.

On 23 August 2022, I purchased a Mazda 6 (EJ14PPO) from National Car Hub for £11,195, part-exchanging my BMW 1 Series and paying the remainder in cash. The Auto Trader advert clearly stated the vehicle had one previous owner, which was a key selling point. I called to confirm this, and was assured by Marie that I would be the second owner—a fact later proven false when I received the logbook showing two previous owners.
Despite the advert portraying the car in good condition, I noticed scratches and rust during inspection. Staff assured me these would be “mopped up” and “touched up.” Relying on their reassurances, I proceeded with the purchase.
After taking the car home, I discovered several faults:
• Squeaky brakes
• Faulty heated seats
• Visible scratches and rust
• Vibration in the passenger door
I reported these on 5 September 2022 and was asked to return the car on 12 September. The issues were acknowledged by their mechanic, and I was told I’d be contacted for repairs and provided a courtesy car. I wasn’t contacted. After chasing, Phoebe said on 26 September a courtesy car hadn’t arrived, delaying the repair. I was left without transport, and her suggestion that it was my responsibility to arrange alternatives was unacceptable.
I obtained two independent reports confirming worn brake discs and pads needing immediate replacement. Despite this, repairs were delayed. Eventually, I was told on 5 October that repairs could be done on 10 October, but no details were provided. I repeatedly requested clarification and received no response.
After escalating with letters on 13 and 21 October requesting a refund, I was told the car had been booked in and a courtesy car had been available—despite prior claims that none was ready. On 2 November, I returned the car and was given a dirty courtesy vehicle containing dog hair, which triggered my son’s allergy.
Repairs dragged on for over a month with minimal updates. Even when complete, no repair report was provided. I was finally told the vehicle was ready on 2 December—three months after reporting the issues. Phoebe later claimed brakes were replaced only due to “surface rust,” contradicting the independent reports.
Adding to the deception, the vehicle’s logbook showed two previous owners, not one as advertised. When I raised this, Phoebe dismissed it, saying she couldn’t view the advert anymore.
After eight months of back-and-forth with Phoebe, Mr. Sharaaz Ahmed, and others, I instructed a solicitor. Only then did National Car Hub agree to refund the vehicle—but unfairly deducted £400 for mileage, despite the vehicle being faulty from the start.
Lastly, I suspect many of the company’s online reviews are fake, written by staff including Marie Hughes and Holly.
Conclusion:
This has been a highly distressing experience involving false advertising, misrepresentation, poor service, and delayed repairs. I have reported National Car Hub to Trading Standards and urge others to avoid this company.

Easy to book an appointment to view and test drive the car into wanted. Initially didn't have the car on site but very apologetic and ensured I was able to view and drive the car the next day. Very accommodating with letting me test a couple to compare and made the purchase very easy. Took a few days for the car to be ready for me to pick up but great price for my trade in and quick once ready. Handover was great.
