The service itself is not bad, but the tool calling doesn't work for people, the models just go into timeouts because of this. The site is not suitable for anything more complicated than regular chats. I'm very disappointed, and I'm glad I threw in a little balance just to test it. I don't recommend it.

As some have said, the service is similar to e.g. openrouter, it allows you to use many different LLMs while they act as a routing platform for the requests/prompts.

I genuinely can't thank the founders enough for coming up with this, not solely because the idea itself is neat, but because the service has been built from the grounds up with a strong emphasis on privacy.

Unlike many other services, NanoGPT's privacy is backed by actual technical know-how and the features they add make sense while staying in line with the spirit of the project. The founders also constantly strive to improve and listen to community feedback.

As someone who has been dealing with severe privacy-related anxieties for many years, I can't overstate how grateful I am to have a service that allows me to use, work with, and chat with LLMs without having to worry (as much) that my data is going to be harvested - it's helped me in more situations than I could enumerate.

In the spirit of honesty, it's worth noting the service does have issues at times, but many are caused by upstream providers, and those that aren't are handled with care and remediated as soon as they can. :)

With more models available than you could ever ask for, quick support for new models, TEE focused models for maximum privacy, a phenomenal support, and ofcourse, cheapest prices you can get. Image models, video models, TTS, scrapers, everything you need in one place. I've never looked back to another service since I started using nanogpt.

Genuinely the best LLM subscription service I've used.
For only 8$ I get web and API access to all the latest open-source LLMs with very generous limits.

Customer for nearly a year now, really appreciating the developers having built this with privacy in mind, pretty much the sole reason I chose to use this service.

The few issues I've run into were solved quickly by support. The service improves regularly, has many interesting features and tools, and the community is dedicated to building additional software around it.

Genuinely hoping they'll stay afloat for a long time.

I've had a subscription with Nanogpt for 5 months, very happy with it. New models get added super fast, i swear they add them before i can find them anywhere else. They seem hardworking.

I had a minor issue with the payment system on Nano‑gpt and requested a solution. They resolved my problem in less than 24 hours. I recommend this platform.

I have been a customer for a long while now. Until recently, I have opened a fresh account, topped up $30 dollar total, and have only received $20. I have contacted support and have been repeatedly dismissed for the last 5 days. Support cited discrepant usage data that showed a spend of around ~$38 (which is impossible) when I asked to clarify they said they really don't know and can't find any record of how it could of went over the max total I charged and *should* of had then said "Sorry, wish we knew as well :/" < which was at the 8th email and in the last email they answered with LLM generated outputs. I have asked for the balance records and I'm waiting for a reply. It is now day 9 since the incident, wish me luck.

It just happened to me now. How can I pay for a pro account and never got the service I paid for except invoice receipt in a pdf ? I needed the app for a video content purpose and not what chatgpt can do for free? The idea of the app is stupid and illegal.

You can easily use a huge number of AI models and pay per prompt. Saves money since there is no need for subscriptions, and saves time since there is no need to sign up to multiple models.
