Stay away

Stay away! It is easy to book tickets, but after that everything becomes difficult. If you are lucky to reach their customer service, there is no help.
I was booked on a flight that could not possibly be fulfilled. Had to buy new tickets and an hotel night. Never again!

What a scam

What a scam – stay away. MyTrip agents reassured me multiple times par email and telephone that they would modify my altered flight free of charge (the airline changed the arrival time by more than 3h), for which I would directly receive the new ticket per email. Months (!) passed, no one contacted me, I had to wait for hours on their phone support for someone to answer (multiple times!), only to find out that their own request had not been approved by the airline and that I had to pay 240EUR (!) for the modification of a flight that originally cost 80EUR; needless to say I didn't receive any emails regarding this despite two different agents confirming that the modification would be free of charge, I had to call them otherwise I would never have known.
So another request was made a couple of weeks back, I called again and again, and today I found out that the new request to their finance team to cover the fees of their own mistake had expired, as told by the agent and that a new request had been submitted, and who knows how long that will take... I requested to speak directly to a supervisor and the agent reassured me that the supervisor would call me in less than 24h. They never did. I called again, the supervisor was not there, now supposedly the manager had my file and was working on it. I will need to wait, again, 24h for a ticket that was booked in late October and has taken me hours, literally hours, from my life, and very expensive phone bills as the line to speak with an agent over the phone takes more an hour and a half EACH TIME. My flight is in a week, and the late arrival will cost me more money and problems with hotel check-in --what a disgrace of a company!

Unethical process practices and zero customer service.

Do not book with these companies under any circumstances. I originally purchased my ticket through Gotogate, but when an issue arose, I was immediately pushed off to their subsidiary, Mytrip.com. They use this corporate maze to trap you in an endless loop of terrible customer service and avoid accountability.

I did not board my flight, and the plane wasn't even full, meaning they lost absolutely nothing by me not being there. Yet, they are flat-out refusing to refund me for a service they never provided. To make matters worse, instead of just refunding the unremitted airport taxes and fees, which they are legally obligated to return since I didn't fly, they are actively fighting my bank's dispute just to hold onto my money. Unethical, unhelpful, and completely anti-consumer. Save yourself the headache, pay the few extra euros, and book directly with the airline.

Awful service from Jania Isabel

Awful service from Jania Isabel. Requested a partial refund as only 1 person out of the 2 cannot fly. Provided written and signed documentation due to health issues.

Was told to contact icelandair, if booked through 3rd party they advise you to continue with them.

After multiple attempts with pictures, documentation, was told to request from icelandair.

This person clearly did not know what their role is or what there doing.

Please can I be assisted from someone who has the decency to look into the information I am sending them and reviewing the case properly

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Mytrip.

My booking from Riyadh to Cairo which was two trips from Riyadh to Jouf and from Jouf to Riyadh at the date of 19 March was rescheduled by the second airline and i had received an email from My trip asking for confirmation of refund which i had confirmed immediately , and despite multiple attempts to contact customer support, I have not received any clear response or refund.

This situation has been ongoing for more than two months, which is completely unacceptable.

I expect:
Immediate confirmation of my refund
A clear timeline for when I will receive my money

If this issue is not resolved soon, I will escalate it through my bank and consumer protection authorities.

I strongly advise others to be cautious when booking through this platform.

We booked to Hurghada Egypt 1 month ago, 2 days ago we got email that the booking of my wife was cancelled forcing us to refund the flight, when i spoke to the customer service the dude said
'' The tickets are way more expensive and thats a known practice to do ''
we checked today and the tickets are 400$ more expensive. So they cancelled our flight so they are pocket more money.

You start with one price

You start with one price, then you add another price to get hand luggage then you get to another screen where you can/must choose from 8+ different add ons like SMS before onboarding, insurance if the airline company gets broke and have to lay down its business +++

First and definitely the last time I use them

Awful experience and I have never heard so many stories and excuses. Whoever I spoke to gave me a different story!
Had to re-arrange flights booked through mytrip for my parents and kids. Their charges were absolutely ridiculous! Eventually changed the flights with the airline directly and was told I could get a tax refund on the original flights and should speak to mytrip about this. I just gave up with them. Was told I had to pay almost £100 for their fees to get back a tax refund of £38! This company is clearly out to rip people off and I can assure you I am never ever using them again. This was the first and definitely the last time.

There should be an option for zero stars

There should be an option for zero stars for them. Bought the tickets but then flight was cancelled due to conflicts in gulf region. Tried contacting them numerous times through call and email etc. Not a single response for many days. Finally did a chargeback through my bank for refund. After 2 months, now they have disputed chargeback. Never contacted back or replied to messages. Never ever take their services please

I wish i could have an option of not rating

I genuinely wish there were an option to give zero stars because even one star feels too generous for this experience.

I booked an Air India journey from Heathrow Airport to Bangalore, with a connecting domestic leg to Pune, and the same route for my return all through MyTrip. The total cost was around £970, so not a small amount.

Due to ongoing war-related uncertainties at the time, I contacted customer service to confirm whether my booking qualified for a full refund. I was explicitly told that it did. Based on that information, I went ahead and cancelled my tickets. Later, I found out that only the international segment was eligible not the entire booking. That’s not just disappointing, it’s outright misleading.

It’s now been over a month, and I still haven’t received my refund. To make matters worse, I received a call today stating that I’m not eligible for a full refund after all completely contradicting what I was told earlier.

On top of that, the domestic leg operated by Air India Express was cancelled by the airline itself, and they have already confirmed issuing a refund. Yet, even after 20 days, that amount has not been credited back to me by MyTrip.

This is unacceptable. Providing false information, delaying refunds, and failing to process funds already returned by airlines reflects extremely poor service and a lack of accountability.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking through MyTrip. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish.

Really bad experience

Really bad experience. They do not want to give us refund when our flight was cancelled. It was flight with AirArabia, AirArabia give us information that Mytrip is abble to ask for refund but Mytrip does not want to give us money back. Strongly not recommend!

Very unpleasant experience during out…

Very unpleasant experience during out last trip to APAC region.

We booked a flight using myTrip and due to the recent conflict this flight was canceled. Mytrip support team kept claiming wrong/outdated information regarding the refund policy and kept our case in status "estalated to backoffice" for more than one and half month without resolution (the issue of course is not resolved yet).

For reference, the airline mentioned this operation is "one click" operation. I would recommend this provider only to those who would take the risk to LOSE their MONEY and TIME.
It makes NO sense to buy through a provider that is unreliable while increasing the effort to request a simple refund..
Please take that consideration before booking a flight with them.
