Easy to use for someone not "tech"savvy. The guided questions assist in getting customer to create a finished product without experience with the product.

Great concept. But too pricey to maintain for the purpose I wanted. Added it to a gift picture book as a point of difference but can only keep it available for one month which is disappointing. Perhap... See more

It was so easy to create

It was so easy to create, honestly, I thought it was going to be really hard. I'm very pleased with the finished product. Truly quick and simple to create.

QR code presented as ready but deactivated days later with no prior warning

Hi. I used myqrcode.com to create a QR code, went through the full creation process, and was shown a page that said "Your QR code is ready!", alongside a QR code. I downloaded it and printed it on some leaflets. A few days later it stopped working entirely, showing a message saying the code had been deactivated.

I never created an account, and at no point during the process was I told that the code would deactivate without one. The final page said it was ready and not that it was a temporary preview.

When I contacted support asking for the exact wording that disclosed this before download, they could not provide it. After several emails, the closest answer I got was that I had been "invited to create an account" on the same page.

I am not opposed to paid services. The issue is that the interface gives every impression the QR code is complete and functional before you ever see a pricing page. By the time it deactivates, you may have already shared or printed it, which is what happened in my case.

I have since seen multiple reviews here describing the identical experience. Do not fall into their trap as this does not appear to be a misunderstanding. This is how the product is designed to work.

I advise anyone who have experienced this to make a formal complaint to Trading Standards so we can rid this company of its unjust practices.

All the best.

Be very careful of using this company.

Be very careful of using this company.

I was under the impression I was paying for a single QR download at £1.45. But actually this was a 7-day trial, and that automatically starts charging you £49 without any approval or clear information that this is the case.

£49 a month for this service is way, way overpriced; £1.45 per month would have been ok. I had paid £197.45 before I realised this.
