Best service ever
We canceled our account, thinking that since we already had the QR codes and didn’t need new ones, we no longer needed the account. Big mistake—we quickly realized the codes stopped working, and we had them everywhere.
We contacted customer support, and within minutes we received a clear explanation and help getting everything reconnected.
Misleading Subscription Charges Not Clearly Disclosed
I signed up for what appeared to be a one-time QR code service for $1.95. At no point in the checkout process was it clearly disclosed in a prominent way that I was enrolling in a recurring $49/month subscription.
Starting one week later, I was charged $49 on a recurring monthly basis:
* Nov 16, 2025 — $49
* Dec 14, 2025 — $49
* Jan 11, 2026 — $49
* Feb 8, 2026 — $49
* Mar 8, 2026 — $49
* Apr 5, 2026 — $49
* Pending May 3, 2026 — $49
Total: $343 charged, plus another $49 pending.
I did not use the service beyond the initial QR code. I also did not receive any reminder or notification before these recurring charges were processed.
After looking into this further, I found many other customers describing the exact same experience: a low-cost or “trial” entry point followed by recurring charges that are not clearly disclosed and no reminders before billing.
At minimum, this company should:
* Clearly and prominently disclose that this is a recurring subscription before payment
* Send reminder emails before billing begins or renews
* Offer refunds in cases where the service is not used
As it stands, the billing structure is not transparent and has resulted in multiple unexpected charges.
R.E.: Email Reminder or Confirmation of Subscription
If you only need to use this service once/for a few codes, please PLEASE remember to make sure you cancel subscription STRAIGHT AFTER creating the QR codes.
They don't make it clear enough that the subscription will be charged immediately after the "trial" period ends NOR do they send you ANY reminder via email when it's nearing the end of your trial. Every other platform/service I've used always sent AT LEAST ONE email reminder should I want to cancel or continue with the automatic subscription.
Now I've lost NZD89 that I'll never get back. I know for many people, that's hardly any money, but for me who is working paycheck to paycheck, this has a SIGNIFICANT IMPACT on my day to day life.
I'm honestly so disappointed and disgusted with their T&Cs. This is exploitation - outright and openly so.
Of course, their Customer Service is very quick to answer emails/enquiries. But of course, they're also that quick to say that they're keeping the money and that they've cancelled your subscription now :)
Wow. Thanks a lot. By word of mouth, I'm telling people NOT to use this service ever, not even for the very small fee for the "7-day membership" which I admit is bait I've fallen for.
Update: I've also left a 1-star feedback on Google :) You're welcome, MyQRCode.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! It’s a bait and switch. NO where does it say the QR code won’t work. You get your QR code and download and it’s says complete. It doesn’t state you have to create an account to use. I got a QR code generated, tested it and then printed. Within 4 days when you click it it says your QR code has been deactivated. Then when you reach out to support they say you only got a preview. You just sign up for a premiere account which cost $228 a year. They said I could sign up for a trial. I did they said it didn’t count because it was the same email used to get the QR code. I have to sign up with a different email. So I did, again the trial is mentioned after they say your QR can be downloaded. No where does it state the QR won’t work, even when you go to their landing page it’s all about setting up a code. Nothing about a plan being needed. They could have got a new customer if they didn’t treat us like a con they were score!
Ease of use and accurate.
Scam subscription won’t cancel
This is a scam company that won’t provide proof of cancellation and will auto subscribe your CC at $50/month. They’ll never respond or help cancel. Call your CC company immediately.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam - you’re led to believe you can generate a free QR code and then you’re auto subscribed onto a £49 a month subscription- it wasn’t until I recently reviewed a bank statement I found they have had £400 off of me without even using their service.
Con artists!
Read the fine print carefully
Read the fine print carefully. The one-week trial automatically converts to a $49 a month charge! They are not willing to issue a refund.

Watch out to cancell subscription if…
Watch out to cancell subscription if you do one time use. It is not visibly and clearly stated when paying a small charge for one time use. It is automatically renewed to a monthly fee of 40 Eur. No notification email that the subscription was renewed or anything just charged to your credit card once provided. Watch out!

I signed up for a trial period for $1.95, and I was shocked to find that the service automatically charged me $49.00 twice without any prior notification or clear authorization. This is a predatory pricing model that exploits customers. When I contacted their support, they refused to refund my money despite the fact that I didn't use the service after the unauthorized charges. They use "dark patterns" to trick people into expensive subscriptions. Very disappointed.
