Moving Day Miracle: A Piece of Cake
If you are looking for a moving company that actually delivers on its name, Piece of Cake Moving & Storage is it. Moving is notoriously one of the most stressful life events, but these folks turned it into an absolute breeze.
From start to finish, the entire experience was flawless. Here is why I cannot recommend them enough:
1. Transparent Pricing (No Hidden Drama)
Getting a quote was incredibly simple. Their online system is intuitive, and the customer service representative I spoke with was friendly and thorough. They gave me a flat-rate quote that was highly competitive, of purse there are a bit other reasonable fees including admin fees, fuel surcharges and taxes at the end
2. Promptness & Professionalism
On moving day, three crew arrived 15 mins earlier than my booked window. Since my building doesn’t allow moving before the 9:00am peak hour. They patiently waited until the exactly 9:00am, the start of my booking window. They didn’t just show up; they showed up with energy, positive attitudes, and a game plan. The foreman introduced himself, walked through the apartment with me to confirm what was going, and the team immediately got to work.
3. Elite Packing & Care
I was a bit nervous about a few fragile items, including a vintage glass computer desk and a massive TV. The movers handled my belongings like they were transporting museum artifacts. They wrapped sofa and mattresses in thick durable tape or moving blankets, taped it all securely, and moved with a level of speed and efficiency that was mesmerizing to watch. Not a single wall was scuffed, and not a single box was dropped.
4. Lightning-Fast Efficiency
What I expected to take a gruelling eight hours took them just under 5and half hours including transportation. They worked as a seamless, well-oiled machine. When we arrived at the new apartment they also assembled my storage bed and removed all the wraps and put major furniture in place.
The Verdict: Moving is usually a headache, but Piece of Cake genuinely made it feel effortless. They were professional, efficient, careful, and remarkably friendly. If you want a stress-free move, save yourself the anxiety and hire them. It really was a piece of cake!

Phenomenal- have moved over 30 times and never experienced anything like this. From start to finish - e/t perfect. Customer service rep, Jordan, checking in prior to move, sent COI for approval the same day I signed up. The movers themselves, Ermain and team called ahead of time, where here on time, completed the move in the time they said - all pleasant throughout move, not one complaint even after climbing 3 flights of stairs over and over in NYC summer heat. The truck, clean and pristine - they wrap all the items in blankets and padding and rope e/t in tightly in truck - not one item dented or broken. So incredible. I couldn’t believe all the glowing reviews online, but it’s true, they were e/t they say and more. Go with these guys, they know what they are doing and they excel at it - you will thank me later.
