Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the health notifications. This is really useful for us and not the first time we have heard this happening. We have been re-designing the app and have some major improvements in this area coming in a few weeks. Our Chief Veterinary Officer also agreed with you, and so we hope this will be much more improved.

We will send you notifications when your health values fall outside of normal range, but this first warning is just to notify you of a potential trend change. If the value doesn't return to within normal range after 60 mins we send another notification to you that comes with improved tips and insights and recommends certain actions you can take.

You also have full control over your notification preferences and can toggle off all push notifications in your notification centre - but do note you may miss important health markers. If you'd like help learning more about this control feel free to message us!

We really want to get this part of the product right so would love to hear your feedback here.

5 day battery life :(

Thanks for sharing your feedback on the battery performance, and we agree this is something we will improve on drastically for our next monitor that's already in development.

For now though, 5-7 days is considered about normal but it does depend a lot on individual usage, particularly if you are connected to Bluetooth and out on long daily walks or running old versions of firmware. Check your settings to see if if you need an update and if you start a walk, make sure to stop it so the event is logged and not running in the background.

We will definitely improve this area, so stay tuned for updates.

Complex for non-tecchies :(

There’s so much data to sift through that it’s a bit overwhelming at times. I wish it were more user-friendly for people who aren’t tech-savvy.

We appreciate feedback like this as it helps us improve our product with each new update. We're sorry to see you've been having difficulty with the BLE and WiFi connections.

Typically, in order to establish a BLE connection, you'll need to check the permissions on your smartphone. This seems easier on iOS than Android. On Android devices you'll need to enable BLE on the app settings and also the smartphone settings, otherwise it can be unstable. For a monitor connection to BLE or WiFi, the monitor will need to be within range.

The range for BLE can be 30-60m depending on if you're inside or outside and this is also reliant on having no obstructions like thick walls that can stop the connection. If you are on a walk and your dog goes out of the BLE range the monitor will disconnect, but the data will save and store to the memory and sync once a connection with either BLE or WiFi is enabled.

We also understand that connections to WiFi networks can be unstable too and we're working hard on improving this area. Sometimes, WiFi networks have a firewall or certain security features that can block a new network from showing up on the list. This happens a lot in places like office buildings or hotels.

If you need some additional support with this, I recommend contacting our support team so they can help you troubleshoot and get you properly re-connected.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding the battery performance. Typically we find a monitor will last 7-10 days depending on usage, but this can vary. If you're taking your pet out for a very long walk, or multiple walks in a day then this can affect the battery health as it's connecting to bluetooth. You should also receive battery alerts when the monitor needs a charge up.

We're actually working on our next generation monitor and one of the areas we will definitely improve on is the battery health. We will keep everyone updated on the development progress, but we would expect this to be released toward's the end of next year.

Make it more like Apple Watch please!

The tracking features are decent, but not as comprehensive as I’d hoped. I am an Apple Watch Ultra user and was really looking for something more detailed like that for my dog.

Happy overall but needs some improvements

The app works fine most of the time, but I’ve had a few issues with syncing the data. The health insights are useful, but I wish there was more detailed information available. The rewards system is a nice touch, but overall, I think the product needs some improvements before I can give it a higher rating.

For data syncing, make sure your monitor battery is charged and also make sure your monitor is connected to a WiFi network or Bluetooth. This should ensure your data syncs are up to speed.

Regarding the health data information, we will have a new app releasing in a few months that will be much more visually appealing and detailed in information. We'd love to come back to you for feedback once it's live.

Tried a few pet wearables, this one is my fav so far!

The app has quite a few useful features and I find being able to switch between my 4 dogs profiles really useful. I get a lot of health alerts sent to my phone which keeps me updated on all my dogs health. Although it's not a GPS location tracker I like being able to track the walks with my dogs. Would it be possible to make it easier for people with 4 dogs to start a walk, at the moment I have to switch between each pet profile to start the walk on the app

Battery is draining too fast

Whilst on average we find a battery can last 7-14 days, this does totally depend on usage. If your device is connected to Bluetooth a lot then it will invariably lose battery much faster. Sometimes this can happen if you 'start a walk' but don't end it. Another area to look at is your firmware version in your Monitor settings. If you are running an old version then this can affect battery performance and health.

Regarding your push notifications - are you on Android? We find some Android users have not given permissions for MyPetGo under the phone settings and this can stop all notifications coming to you. We might need to do a bit of troubleshooting with you to get you up to speed, and to make sure your monitor is operating properly. I'll request our team to reach out to you directly so we can look into it.

We are currently building our Generation 2 monitor and we will be upgrading our battery significantly. We'll keep you posted on the launch dates.
