I signed up for a free trial and was not made aware that after an initial 'one off' fee of £2.95 it turns into a monthly subscription of £16.95.
As I phoned up one day after the payment was taken, they only refunded me 8£.
After asking who I can complain to they hung up the phone.
Do not use this company.

Hidden subscription fees, misleading
Experience was great before I got a surprising subscription fee, to what I didn't consent.
I created the cv, all that was great and easy, to download it I chose a one time payment of 1.95 €. That was acceptable, even though there are free options.
And surprise, today I got a 24.95€ monthly subscription fee.
If there was mentioned something about subscription during that 1.95 payment, it was definitely well hidden and misleading.
Sent an email for refund as I obviously do not need a monthly subscription to create cv or cover letters on daily basis.

Beware this subscription 'service'
Beware this subscription 'service', an initial 'one off' fee of £2.95 turns into a monthly subscription of £16.95. It is not obvious during the on-line process. Upon cancellation they can afford to drop the rate by over 90% back to the £3. They know what they are doing and only offer the current months payment for refund as 'policy'. Personally I would write to the Financial Ombudsman.
