After struggling with my self-esteem…

After struggling with my self-esteem and physical changes due to menopause, I joined the MYM Club, and it transformed my life. My self-confidence, libido, and energy have significantly increased. The coaching was exceptional, even though I thought I knew a lot about nutrition. I've tried multiple diets like Slimming World and Weight Watchers, only to regain the weight. This program, however, has been life-changing. I am incredibly thankful for the positive impact it has had on me. My deepest gratitude goes to MYM Club, Viola, and Dean for giving me a fresh start. Amazing experience

Hi,

I am Michelle. I am from a rural place in Canada. I manage a retail food store and before the MYM Club I struggled with knowing how to lose weight. I felt heavy and completely lost on how to do it, I thought is this how it is going to be now? After seeing a reel on Facebook from the MYM club, I thought they sound knowledgeable and maybe these are the team to help me get my health back. After speaking with Dean about my concerns, he built out a specific personalised Blueprint to follow, my blueprint, catered for my life, my likes and dislike with accountability and feedback I was confident I was making the right choice.

My biggest wins with the MYM club was learning how to portion correctly, how to set up food, how to change my mindset,, walk without losing my breath and loosing the weight. I lost over 20lbs, improved my health and fitness (I don't have heart pains anymore)

I've gained more confidence in who I am, I now go out for walks and exercise a minimum of 3 times a week. I am eating healthier than I ever have without overeating. I have all the tools and help to continue to be a healthier me.

If you're scared or concerned about making the investment in yourself, don't be. The 1 on 1 coaching and feedback helped keep me on track and it was the best decision I've ever made.

Transformed my life and excited about…

Transformed my life and excited about my future.

I joined the mym club in July of 2024. I did have my doubts and did not know what to expect. I am perimenopasual and I did not know who I was any more.

I was on Facebook one day and came accross a FB support group that was ran by the MYM Club and got speaking to Dean, who said he may be able to help. I had a video conversation with Dean and decided to give it a go.

Life changed from then.

So from July 2024 to November 2024 (right now) I have not only lost 2 stone I have gained so much knowledge about not just food but more importantly how to think and take time out for me. Prioritise me.
I had lost myself and did not want to catch up with friends or family, I went to work and then home. Just living to go to work.

Today is a very different story. With the help and support from the MYM Club, I now take time out for myself, I even go 3-4 times a week to the gym (I'd have never believed that) & a flotation tank.
These are things I would have never have done as it would have been out of my comfort zone.

But now I go and love it. The support from Dean and the other ladies in the coaching group are amazing.

Best decision I have ever made

I have struggled with my weight my whole life and mostly the weight of other people's opinions of my weight. The MYM Club has helped me with accountability, taking the pressure off numbers and allowed me to change my habits to transform my life and in turn I have lost weight. I could not have done it without them and appreciate the guidance so much. The best investment I have made for myself! Would recommend everyone to take the first step. I am so much happier and that is an invaluable part of this programme

I lost 12 kilos with MYM Club

I have struggled with my weight over many years doing the usual weight loss clubs. Post menopause I was at my heaviest. I had so many aches and pains bloating and brain fog. On a hot May Day with nothing to wear because everything was much too tight. I saw a post from Dean for a free 5 day challenge. I joined and started to lose weight. From that first 5 days I knew MYM was what I needed.
MYM is different to anything I’ve tried before it’s more holistic. Dean and Viola ensure the nutrition and workout plans are personalised to each client. They take into account foods you like/don’t like and your current physical activity. There is a private client group, an app to complete daily and weekly checkins, weekly call from Dean or Viola, Member only lives where Dean provides in-depth information on all things menopause.

I have lost 12 kilos, 8cm from my waist, a toned stomach I feel healthier, and my brain fog has gone. No counting calories and no hours in the gym.

The best thing about working with the MYM club is its personalised I felt Dean really listened to me and we agreed on small steps, to achieve my goal. I haven’t missed out on social events I’ve had days at the coast where I’ve eaten fish chips and ice cream, a very luxurious afternoon tea and the odd McDonalds. Nothing is off limits. There are no bad foods in MYM.

Joining the free group is a great start to a weight loss journey. Give it a try there is nothing to loose but menopause symptoms.

Hi my name Tracy I’m 58 years old and…

Hi my name Tracy I’m 58 years old and this is my story.
In February 2023 I felt the lowest of the low and so depressed. I was on high dose of medication for chronic back pain after an accident. I had to take early retirement due to ill health, my life had changed completely, everything was now at a slow pace. I was also going through the menopause with so many symptoms of flushes, night sweats, brain fog, you name it I had it.. I wasn’t able to work out like I used to because of my accident and therefore my weight increased, I wouldn’t look in the mirror because I didn’t like what I saw. My depression, got worse, I was in a right mess, then out of the blue I got a message from Dean, I couldn’t believe it, It was as if he knew, he asked me how I was and I told him, he then asked could he ring me? He did and my journey began, we talked quite a lot, well that was when I wasn’t crying. He told me to go and weigh myself. That was my first test. I really didn’t want to but he told me that it was the first step into my journey. Deans support has been amazing. He’s always been there for me if I needed him. Dean got me started on my daily food Logs, my non-negotiables and exercises I never thought I could do, but these had been a focus that I never thought I would ever be able to commit to, but I was so determined to get out of the hole, I followed all of his instructions and advice. All of the Nutrition advice, the exercises and health advice has been brilliant. It really made me think about what I was eating and drinking and as the time went on my menopausal symptoms started to reduce. My weight loss has been ongoing and will still continue to do so. I’m in a much better place now, where I can smile, look in the mirror and love what I see.
The Mym family have been so supportive and it’s been so great to be part of a family with the same problems that I was/am going through.
If anyone is in doubt about joining the MYM club don’t hesitate. Dean are Viola are fantastic and will be there for you 100%, it’s been an amazing journey and I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done and you still do for me xxx

The MYM Club and Me

My name is Jodie, Im 55 years old, mother of 3 kids in their 20’s and I work in Corrections where I need to have a reasonable fitness level. I enjoy keeping active, I've tried many different weight loss programs but in the end I was taking a bit of information from each one and blending them together, it wasn’t working.

Before I signed up with the MYM Club I was struggling with menopause symptoms, poor sleep, no energy, excess weight gain that I could not move and an Achilles injury that I had had for two years and worked on, with a physio but I could never walk bare footed at anytime.

I was feeling frustrated as have kids in to their fitness but they didn’t get that I am a 55 year old woman that couldn’t eat and train the same as them. I felt I knew some stuff about losing weight as had done it before but not over the last 10 years where I had consistently put on a kg a year.

I chose to invest in the MYM Club as I had spent a good 6 months stalking the page and reading as much as I could about it. I had a video call with Dean and he was easy to talk to, understood my age group and menopause issues and was confident that he could assist me, even with the issues I had had with my Achilles injury. I was ready to invest in myself, I guess it was the right time for me. (he was quite easy on the eye too – so I thought if I have to look at him once a week, there could be worse things!! LOL)

The Mym Club app was awesome as a buddy for my journey – I haven’t seen anything like that before and also the accountable to a coach is definitely motivating. Dean was reminding me, pushing me, advising me, encouraging me and commending me on my wins and helping me analyse my not so great days.

My biggest doubts/fear joining the MYM Club was I’d waste my money and it wouldn’t work and most of all I wouldn’t commit. Often I would have ‘enabling friends’ lets call them! Where they say ‘ its not your time when the time is right you’ll be able to commit’ or ‘why can’t you just accept this is who we are now’ or ‘we aren’t 25 anymore’.

My Biggest wins would be getting my Achilles injury under control – Dean got me to video a couple of exercises to see how bad it was and gave me a simple daily regime to follow which I did and within, I think 3 weeks, I was walking barefooted with no pain, considering I’d been going to a physio for 6 months a year prior, with no real changes, I had just thought this is something I just had to live with. I have had a weight loss of 3kgs during my time with The MYM Club and feel I have adjusted my way of thinking about weight loss, I am a lot more patient and understand that persistency and sticking to the plan is how I get results, I’m so much more confident in the way I look and the way I feel in my clothes. My energy is so much better, my sleep is better and I literally have NONE of the MENOPAUSE SYMPTOMS I was initially dealing with.

My most significant mindset change would’ve been around the daily ‘non-negotiables’ knowing that I had these simple things to do each day and mark off made the journey seem so much less daunting as they were basic changes, basic things I had to accomplish each day that lead me to the success I feel I have accomplished and will continue to accomplish.

My life is different now because I know if I persist with the things I have learnt I will get results, I need to be patient and committed and not give up if I lapse or if I stick to everything and not get a result because I now know that result will come.

Now having the tools to look ahead, I can see where I had lacked in my weight loss attempts. I’ve learnt new daily habits around nutrition, activity and forgiving myself and being patient.

If you are thinking of joining The MYM Club I would definitely recommend it, the support from a knowledgeable coach is immeasurable in your weight loss journey and someone who understands the stage of life that you are going through. Accountability is the key too, there is no magic formula, but to invest in yourself, believe in yourself and commit to a process that you believe in, is what is going to get you your desired result.

If you are scrolling through various programs and confused by the difference between all of them and have a million questions, then book a phone call with Dean and have a chat it’s as simple as that. I guarantee during your call you will find a man passionate about helping women going through this stage of life, empathetic toward our struggles and committed to helping you have success in your weight loss journey. We all know there are way too many options out there and you need someone that you can trust and doesn’t baffle you with bullcrap! That someone is The MYM Club!

Following the MYM Club

I have been following the MYM Club for a few years now on Facebook and listening to Dean’s podcasts. It sounded great and easy to implement but I was very sceptical. Would this just be another fad diet that I will end up failing with and ultimately feeling worse than when I began and heavier than before. Oh how I was wrong!
I took the leap in January and finally bit the bullet to sign up after years of not getting anywhere with my weight. I was miserable and hateing myself for putting on this weight. Still wary and very anxious, but my first virtual meeting with Dean left me quietly confident that just maybe this would work!
This is not a diet. It is a way of life. The MYM team are like an extended family of support. They support not only your weight loss but your whole well-being, taking into account your sleep, nutrition, energy, stress levels and mindset. They keep you accountable whilst instilling a positive mental attitude.
In twelve weeks, I’ve not only reached my first weight loss goal but I have achieved so much more and I am so grateful to have found Dean and his team…their insightful knowledge and dedication to everyone in the MYM club is immeasurable.
From daily check-ins and encouragement, to webinars and invaluable resources. I am immensely grateful to the team and their support.

Before the MYM Club

Before the MYM Club, I struggled with my weight, anxiety, digestion issues, brain fog, you name it.

I felt I was in a constant state of anxiety and found it hard to concentrate on even the simplest of tasks.

I have tried lots of different programs, supplements, always looking for a quick fix, nothing seemed to work.

Over the past couple of years I had received information on the MYM Club and originally started with the 7 Day Challenge and just couldn’t commit to continuing. That was until a few months ago when I was at one of my lowest points. The MYM Club came up on my social feed on Facebook. It was at that moment I thought, “read on”. Timing must have been right as reached out to Dean.

My 3 biggest wins have been being more mindful of what I am eating and making better choices with food. Being accountable daily with my 6 non-negotiables and writing in my journal each night before I go to sleep.

My significant mindset has definitely been the 1% rule.

Since joining MYM I feel more confident in myself, my anxiety has definitely decreased. Overall my wellbeing has improved and I am feeling happy within myself.

The weekly talks on all sorts of topics dealing with menapause are great. I listen to talks daily while I am walking my dog Ned each morning. It definitely helps put me in a “positive” mindset for the day.

The tools I have learnt thus far with MYM I will utilise for life. They are simple no-nonsense tools that can become daily habits.

Stop sitting on the fence, take a leap and put your faith into the MYM Club with Dean & Viola. You will never look back and will definitely become a better version of yourself. The most important investment is “you”, life is too short so be happy always!

Best decision ever for weight loss

Thank you soo much Dean Chamberlain and Viola Walsh . 2nd goal accomplished. One of my first conversations with Dean I said I would like to come off BP medication and lose 10kg by Christmas. I started with The MYM Club late September and at 2 months off BP medication and 3 months later 10kg gone. I am soo happy I'm dancing around the lounge and giving everyone hugs. The best decision I ever made was joining this group. ❤️ Can't wait to see what we can do for the next 9 months

Join The MYM club you won’t regret it

Before finding the MYM club I had always struggled with my weight, body shape and how I felt about myself. The menopause made this even worse with numerous menopause symptoms including further weight gain.
I felt I had to hid behind large tent shaped clothes, hiding behind others when photos were taken. Low self-esteem was also an issue and had to build myself up to go out.
I had seen the MYM club on Facebook over several months and had contacted them but not taken up the offer of help. I watched one of Dean’s videos and realised that he could be someone who could help me rather than other organisations which I had previously tried who were only interested in the money.
My main doubt was would it work for me. It was a big investment and was concerned I wouldn’t do myself justice and would only lose a few pounds before putting it all back on again plus more.
My top three wins were 7st (98lbs) weight loss, complete change in my body shape and going from a size 18/20 to a size 8. In addition, a complete change in mindset, exercise is no longer a chore but is something that I enjoy and walk a minimum of 8 miles a day.
I can now walk into a shop and pick clothes I like rather than clothes that hide my shape. I feel positive about myself and have lots more energy to enjoy life.
I have now maintained my weight over 4 months something I was never able to do with other weight loss companies. I will never go back to what I was before now that I have the tools to adjust my eating depending on what I am doing.
I would tell anyone who is not sure about the MYM club just do it. It will change your life and you will never look back. Dean’s support is amazing, and he is there every step of the way.

Amazing support

Before I started with the MYM club I had been trying to lose weight for at least 6 years and tried virtually every diet plan there was but nothing worked. When Dean said he could help I was sceptical as nothing else had but I was so wrong! I am heading for my first stone off and can feel my confidence starting to improve. The support you get is amazing and the weekly calls definitely keep you accountable, my only regret is I didn’t do it earlier. I would advise everyone to do it as this genuinely works.

The MYM Club is amazing!

Hi ladies. I found this page at the end of April and Dean reached out to me to see if he could help me out with anything. Since I’m obsessed with reading about health, food and fitness, I thought no, I don’t need the help. I know what I need to do, I just need to do it. I ended up taking the call with Dean. It was me in tears from being unhealthy, miserable and frustrated with all the weight I gained in menopause. Menopause has turned my body in to something I didn’t even recognize anymore. My lifelong flat stomach was now a big menopause belly, my sleep was horrible and I lost my happiness.

Fast forward to today. Dean has changed my life!! I wanted to hit my first goal of 25 pounds off by my birthday (July 3) and I did it!!’ Down 27 pounds this morning. I struggled the last 5 years to do this and couldn’t. Dean has given me back my health, happiness and my confidence. He is a treasure of information on so many subjects, not just weight loss. He teaches you so much about your all over well being which in turns, helps you drop the weight (food, exercise, sleep, stress). He is a miracle worker! 😁. Besides being so knowledgeable, he’s kind and comforting. I always thought that you can’t have a social life or travel until the weight comes off. Dean has taught me how to manage a social life and still be healthy and successful.

I started my journey with Dean broken mentally and in tears. Today, I have tears of joy!!! 😊😊. Thank you Dean! You are a very special person to help us ladies the way you do! ❤️

MYM club changed my life

Since lockdown and working from home my weight has been slowly increasing, I didn’t actually realise the difference in movement I had in the office compared to being at home, during the last 2 1/2 years my weight has increased by just over a stone and only being 5ft2 it really showed and my clothes were uncomfortable

I have tried every diet going and if I’m being truthful I would change which diet I was in depending on what food I wanted to eat!!
So back in sept 22 when I saw deans advert, I was very lost, fast approaching 50 with menopausal systems kicking in and I honestly didn’t think losing weight and feeling good was an option anymore, I decided to contact dean.
When I first spoke to dean he put me at ease straight away explaining that I’m not to old and I could still feel all those things again, so with a family wedding and a once in a lifetime trip to new Zealand fast approaching I signed up..
Dean was brilliant, I don’t ever feel like I’m on a diet, he let me lead with the foods that I wanted to eat and enjoyed and just tweaked them a little based on my exercise and what was going on in my world that week, he also shared tips with me so that I could manage the food I eat against the exercise I do.
I lost the extra stone in time for the wedding, we then focused on the exercise ready for new Zealand, never before have I been on holiday not worrying about my figure and having to get into a bikini, I felt fit, I felt slim and I felt sexy, I was full of energy , the fog had gone and I finally felt myself again.

Through the MYM club I have learned so much about my body and nutrition and I cant thank them enough for the patience, the care and the friendship they have offered me throughout this process, if your on the fence about signing up, please just go for it, you won’t regret it.

MYM thank you

I just wanted to say. The whole MYM concept, that the 2 of you have cultivated and turned into a viable business - is incredible. There is nothing out there like this. It’s the full package. I’ve done seminars, lots of research and reading myself, and seen specialists. MYM pulls all this information together and delivers a system of education, research, nutrition and exercise. And above all delivers it with a caring and understanding approach.

My MYM Club Journey 2 stone lighter
I started with wanting to lose at least 2 stone, menopause was getting me down.
I then spoke to Dean and after a couple questions he told me he could help. I signed up and Dean got to work with helping me sort a meal plan, fluid intake and exercise, I can have my cake and it eat. I've learnt so much along the way especially about myself, through this journey I turned my life upside down with changing my career.
Dean and the team have been there to support me every step and all the lovely members support each other.
I really can't thank Dean and Viola enough for the help of getting my life back

I was feeling really down about myself…

I was feeling really down about myself and my body ever since menopause hit me like a ton of bricks, but after joining the MYM Club, I've noticed a huge improvement in my self-image, libido and energy levels. I think the coaching was the greatest thing about this programme, I am usually pretty good with food but learned so much and I’ve done a lot of diets, from slimming world, to weight watchers, all of them I regained the weight. I'm so grateful for the program and the positive impact it has had on my life. Thank you MYM Club

Prior to joining the MYM Club, I had tried a few different diets/health regimes in order to both lose weight and curb the symptoms of the menopause. I had gradually gained weight over the previous 4 years and had put it down to a somewhat sedentary lifestyle. As a headteacher, I had a long drive to and from work, spent a lot of time at a computer and had limited exercise during the day. Nevertheless, I was still completing an hour of cross training before I left for work each day and oftentimes walking our dogs. However, nothing seemed to to help with either the symptoms or the weight loss. When I retired from education and took up dog walking, I was hopeful that I would see some progress. Unfortunately, due to covering a huge area, I spent more time in the car picking up and dropping off my dogs than walking! I was overweight, constantly tired, unable to sleep and suffering from hot flashes and anxiety. It was at this point that I contacted Dean and started the MYM Club 21 week programme.
From the start, Dean put me at ease as I explained that accountability was something that I knew would help me stay on track. I truly believe that the coaching phone calls and constant advice have been what has made a real difference. The expertise that Dean was able to offer, both on nutrition and exercise, benefitted me greatly. Watching the live streams on nutrition, keeping on track and tips on meditation, mindfulness and reading really helped me. I feel that I have learned so much about what works for me because of the programme and this means that I am now able to apply this knowledge daily helping me to maintain weight loss and keeping my general wellbeing in check.in addition, I have learned that an holistic approach is essential in order to master and live with the menopause. Since joining the MYM Club, many of my menopausal symptoms have either disappeared or become much easier to live with. A great example of this for me was my sleep pattern. I would often not be able to sleep until 2 or 3 in the morning, despite going to bed at a reasonable hour. I am now sleeping well, and the hot flashes that would wake me up when I finally did get to sleep have almost vanished.
In conclusion, I would strongly recommend the MYM Club. I can honestly say that the constant support of Dean, Viola and the MYM community have not only helped me lose the weight that had steadily crept on over the last few years, but have also helped me regain my confidence in so many ways. Having completed the programme, I now feel that, with the tools I have been given, I can continue the journey without fearing that weight will creep back on. I have been given a toolkit to manage the menopause, and for that I am eternally grateful.

Finally Mastering the Menopause!

When I started with the MYM club, I didn’t think this was possible. In fact, I said I wanted to lose 30 kilos but that I’d be impressed with 10. I smashed through my 10 kilos in 9 weeks.
I was 100kg – yes, 100! It was a challenging and difficult day at the start of this journey. Diets didn’t work and made me miserable because they impacted my life – eating with my family, eating out, enjoying a drink.
Dean told me that I shouldn’t diet. He also told me I should continue to live my life and do what made me happy. What a revelation!
After 21 weeks, I have lost 20kg. I am continuing with my journey.
Dean wasn’t kidding, it isn’t a diet. During the last 21 weeks I have eaten:
· Full English Breakfasts.
· Lovely restaurant meals.
· Crisps and nuts
· Cheese
· Big Mac
I have drunk
· Plenty Gin
· Lager
· Cocktails
· Wine and champagne.
I have been on nights out, meals out, a wedding, 3 weeks holiday.
Yes, of course I haven’t consumed these things every day, but I have eaten things I like every …. single…. day.
MYM has given me more energy, better sleep – and has been there for me when I wasn’t feeling my best.
I am so grateful I invested in myself.
