On 15.05.25, 2 MLBs assisted a PC in profiling (race & age) my teen son and his friends twice in 12 minutes in Romford Liberty and Brewery shopping centre. After the PC solicited a historic shoplifting allegation from retail worker against one of the group to justify a stop and search during the second encounter, the MLBs immediately used force to stop the teens from filming. 3 MLBs assisted a PC in throwing my “slim” son to the floor head-first and hit his head for a stop and search. One MLB used one hand only while holding a mobile phone in the other, increasing the risk of preventable injuries. They held him down as 2 PCs used excessive force: twisted his handcuffed wrists, knelt on his head, legs and upper body, they hit head for the second time when forcing him in prone position: there is an audible thud in the BWV acknowledged by the MLB and a PC yet they continued prone restraint and failed to provide medical care. 87 distress calls in 3 minutes ignored, of which 11 were “I am hurting"; 7 “Stop", 6 “get off my leg”, 2 “my arms are hurting", 2 “stop twisting my [handcuffed] wrist”; 1 “get off my head"; 1 “you hurt my head", 29 separate crying instances (”aw”); 11 pull my trousers up/ stop pulling my trousers down [his underwear exposed the entire time]; 8 “what are you doing”; 5 “get off me”; 2 “let me lie down”; muffled voice from the agony at times, one instance of 4 sec silence and one 16 sec during which no welfare checks were done. Clear compliance “ok ok” ignored. All of this was interpreted as “noises” of “annoyance” at being searched and “obstruction”

Versus

8 officer responses, 5 of which were dismissive and abusive “shut up”; “stop being a tw*t”; “stop being an idiot”; “keep your voice down”; “no”; “well it's your own fault” and to each other: “keep him down there”, officers looking around, conversing with each other. This was described as “an imminent danger” Concerned bystanders dismissed

Stop and search found nothing but college ID as just finished GCSE maths exam. No accountability, as they are incestuous with the police. 3 Romford PCs refused to review BWV to investigate the MLB assault against my child.

This bunch of clowns now have a contract with Nottingham City Council to act as litter wardens and pretend police. They regularly assault members of the public. They do not have the same protections and powers as police and in fact have no more powers of arrest or right to use force than an ordinary citizen. I would encourage any members of the public who have force used against them by this lot to reciprocate that force as remember you have a right to use reasonable force to defend yourself.

i was stopped by Jason for no reason this morning because he has been hearing complains about my music and my singing. in addition this he was very rude and said i don't give a damn about your singing. then he starts being angry at me for no reason. i am not very happy with this at all. i was so upset with him so i am not very pleased with this at all. then today he was looking at me and give the most horrible look.

Worst company ever i worked when you are in contact with the company always said good jobs you did really well once contract end leave you of like you are nothing,
I was working with mlb for almost 5 years and i agreed with them for night shift when site contract ended offer me day shifts,but i signed for night shift.
I highly not recommend this company.

Professional and empathetic bobbies. I certainly feel safer knowing they are around.

A local policing service policed by ex convicts

For a company that says there ahead of the game they sure are slow! Not enough shifts, over hire then dont care, do not stick to what they put on contract.

A fantastic Service, truly outstanding. The bobbies within the area always go the extra mile in keeping me and family safe. Highly recommend to anyone!

So glad we signed up to My Local Bobby, they have totally lived up to all our expectations and in fact exceeded quite a few. They are so professional and really do ease our worries about the security of our house and property when we are away and for us when we are not. Knowing they are literally minutes away is really very reassuring. All for a very reasonable cost. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!
