I'm amazed by Phil's expertise and delighted by his professionalism. Within a few hours (or minutes) he updated the entire Joomla and PHP from far outdated versions to the latest ones, and since the php version couldn't be tested at the moment he let me know I should reach him once tested in case something came up, which I did and he made the necessary changes at the spot to fully complete the job.
I highly recommend his service both for his seniority and for his personal traits.

In my opinion, Phil has created an excellent system for the analysis, monitoring and administration of CMS systems. But I am even more enthusiastic about the fast and competent email service. You never stop learning. Phil helps with that. With valuable advice and solutions for solving problems on the server. I am really excited about mySites.guru.

As a business that has numerous websites we built and manage, MySites has been extremely reliable and a huge time saver for us. OK system, worse than awful customer service
As a customer for many years I decided to try something else, within minutes of cancelling my subscription I had a rather curt email. I replied explaining I had no issue with the offering but had decided to try something else to see how other systems compared. In reply I received an email full of abuse, swearing and complete lies about the competition.

As a result I would never trust this organisation again and certainly won't ever be a customer. If you are so insecure about the capabilities and features of your own service that you immediately seek to bad mouth the competition, you are not someone I will use.

Definitely the best and most complete tool to manage Joomla and WordPress websites!

A great service and so seamless for our needs as an agency. Supporting some clients with Joomla websites and one that we took on to recover from a hack.

My company has used the service for nearly 5 years, and we've been incredibly happy with it. We build and manage Joomla websites for 50ish clients. It's one of the three MUST-HAVE softwares for my business (along with Adobe Creative Suite and Gsuite). At its base, the Backup tool, Updates tool, and site Audit/Security check tools are CRITICAL. All the others are icing on the cake, and have become a key reason that I continue to confidently serve my clients for years.
I have LEARNED MORE from Phil (the owner) about Joomla website best practices than I have from any other resource (including Joomla.org). The large number of tools provided are easy to use and full of explanatory information with links and documentation - a dream for a nerd like me!!
To date, I've had ONE hacked site (software hadn't been updated in 2-3 years per client's wishes), which was identified immediately (by MySites), and I restored from a backup, ran an audit, fixed the holes with updates, and kept rolling. Probably took me all of an hour. (This would have been a NIGHTMARE without MySites; it saved my client a ton of money, and me a ton of time. Needless to say, the client has commissioned my services for quarterly updates now).

i am very happy to find phil with his very helpful tools. I have a great overview of my pages with all things to do, to get uptodate. It helped me a lot by finding hacked sites, it helps me with my updates and always tells me, when a new joomlarelease is coming out.

MySites, formerly MyJoomla, is a great platform to help you monitor your Joomla or Wordpress site. Sadly, I found it after several of our Joomla sites had been hacked simultaneously. I had no idea that there were so many different things that needed to be modified and monitored for security purposes. Since then (it's been YEARS now), we have been using MySites. Currently, we have 27 sites that I regularly check. Without this platform, it would take me an insane amount of time to keep them secure. This is well worth the cost. Phil is always improving the platform and adding additional features.

I can not say enough about how happy I am after signing up with my Sites Guru.. With over 60 sites to manage I was losing control fast! to the point I seen out of business in my future after neglecting my sites with updates and patches.. I was refereed to my sites guru from joomla forums.. and man what a difference it has made for me.. Such a pleasure seeing all Green in my control panel.. that 4 months ago was on fire with RED!!.. Phil is on top of his game.. I'm not sure if he sleeps!! Ever.. anytime I had an issue he was right back to me.. Kind of like how I run my business.. Again thank you Phil for getting me on track!!

The software seems to do a pretty good job. The system behind it however is not logical and the owner is extending this illogicality with his own send messy messages.
Things are not working correctly and the owner denies this to an extend it gets annoying very quickly.
When you expect support, you don't wan't to get blamed for stuff the company itsellf is doing wrong.

Some examples:
- We setup alert mails for alerts, other mails for invoice etc.
When an invoice is not paid they keep sending emails to an alert mailbox instead of contact or invoice adress.

When you say you don't receive any invoices or reminders because he is sending it to the wrong adress, it is our own fault.
Why would you send an reminder to an alert mail that is for alerts only. It just does not makes sense.

- When a payment fails It is retried 10 times a day, mail is send with a pretty huge additude. We are instantly bad people and are treated like criminals.
We work with a prepaid creditcard and yes, sometimes have no money added. This does not mean we deserve to get treated the way we get treated.

- When you send some details about things that are not working as expected you are treated like fools for not understanding the way the software works.
We told we got wrong emails on wrong adresses but this is due to our own problems with receiving mails... You send the mail, why are we at fault here.

- When a payment fails, you don't receive reminders (because they are send to the wrong adress) and eventuelly your subscription is cancelled. Forget about any discount you got, it is also cancelled.
We now pay double the amount for the same product because the owner does not have his mails sorted out.

Since we only work with Wordpress and not Joomla we decided to look for better management software with a company with logicality instead of this mess.
There are plenty of others, This software is not something unique or special at all.
The way we are treated will make sure we will never return and could advice anyone to look for a better offer.

It's clearly visible when you look at the reply from the owner he does not want to admit mistakes and keeps defending himsellf. It shows i am completely right and the owner is not client friendly at all, just like others say in reviews.

We had a lot of trouble with joomla and security. Joomla is very receptive to bots and hacks. mySites.guru is a must!! When we first discovered that our website was hacked is when we found mySites.guru. Phil completely cleaned our bad files and his support was top notch! With our subscription, the website was never in danger again!!

I have been using this site for a couple of years - and it stopped the continual attacks on my site within six hours of my first contact. Phil started by fixing the site that the previous company who were supposed to be protecting us had broken. Then he fixed the holes in the security and kept the hackers out. Then the real beauty of his system became apparent - my site was kept up to date, and it showed me how to keep it secure. There are continual upgrades and improvements. Today a data table got corrupted so I emailed him, and it too has been sorted with a minimal fee. Highly recommend.
