Reading the reviews I was able to take…

Reading the reviews I was able to take action and contact Myhelpshop immediately. I did suspect fraud but to be fair I was dealt with politely and promptly and the payment was immediately cancelled. The number is 0800 041 8781. Best of luck

SCAM

Like the other reviews here, I have had £40.56 taken from my bank account but I have never heard of this company. I contacted my bank who said it had been done via Google Pay and that it was a regular subscription. The bank said that if I still had my device, I must have done it myself. I will be disputing this with the bank as I definitely didn't. My debit card has now been cancelled to stop future subscription payments.

Beware of myhelpshop

As many have already mentioned on this site - we also noticed a transaction of £40.56 from myhelpshop.com that we had no knowledge of. It clearly seemed fraudulent. Contacted Halifax Bank who looked into it but wouldn’t accept it as a scam. No idea how they acquired the account details.
HX stopped the card but were not particularly helpful.
We then had to call myhelpshop direct (surprisingly they answered) and tbf they cancelled the subscription.
Beware!!

Dodgy company

This a very dodgy company! I'd never heard of them until they debited my account for a £40.56 subscription. No idea how they got my bank details. I've reported it to my bank as fraud.

Possible scam

I tried to open an account with a different company, step 1&2 went fine with this companies application, but on clicking on step 3 the myhelpshop site appeared thanking me for starting my free trial (which I hadn't applied for) I also noticed that apparently my free subscrition to myhelpshop would end soon and that I would be paying £40.56 a month for something I didn't apply for and don't want. The myhelpshop has link to cancel my subscription which I did and I received an Email saying no future charges will take place , but I will be checking my credit card account daily for the next few weeks ,

SCAM SCAM SCAM - Disgrace

Not entirely sure how this happened, but bank account charged £40.56 from Myhelpshop. Contacted bank and this has now been flagged as fraud! Contacted Myhelpshop to ask what exactly they do and how did they manage to deduct money from my bank account. I was told I would be required to give an email address and they would send further information. I declined as I am rather concerned that they could take £40.56 from my bank account without my knowledge. Serious concerns that this can actually happen. Looking at the reviews on this platform, it would appear that this is a regular occurrence - seriously something should be done about this company.

Scammers!

I noticed a bank transaction for £40.56 that I didn’t recognise, for this company, which I’d never heard of. I rang my bank and they’ve removed transaction and are sending me a new card!! I don’t know how they got my details as I never use my debit card online - only my credit card.

I was charged $38

I was charged $38 - 4 different times and I do not belong to this company nor do I know what it was for. Thank goodness my bank declined it each time. Cannot talk to anyone there if you don't have an account. This has to be a scam company, beware!

MyHelpStore - unauthorised payment

This company somehow got my bank details and signed me up for a subscription without my knowledge. Luckily I noticed a payment for £40.60 due to be processed by my bank - with further monthly payments. I went onto the MyHelpShop website and sent an email to complain and to cancel the subscription. The payment was cancelled but the email they sent re-iterated that I must have signed up as card details etc needed entry. I absolutely did not sign up! I still don’t know what the actual subscription was for. Be aware of this company, they are scammers. I’m still not sure how they got my details which is extremely worrying.

An expensive limpet, no benefit to you

This company appears to piggyback off media mobile operators. It is not clear that they are not part of a mobile contract, they are an add-on that slips through the process. If you are requested a second time to confirm your personal and bank details, then you are about to sign up with this company. I see no benefit to have this subscription.

MyHelpShop looks like a scam

My bank account was debited £40.56 payable to MyHelpShop. I had never heard of this business and had no dealings with them. But they had my debit card details. I emailed MyHelpShop and I received an almost immediate response confirming they had unsubscribed me. I also saw the £40.65 debit was removed from my bank account. I did ask them to explain how I was subscribed and how they got my debit card details but I have had no response. I cancelled my debit card immediately. In a later response MyHelpShop clarified their role stating We are a third-party customer support center assisting customers on behalf of our global partners.
The email or card number you provided is linked to an active subscription for Digital Center Max.
Digital Center Max is an online platform offering a variety of entertainment and learning options, including online gaming, movie streaming, workout videos, e-learning, and more.

Once registered, a confirmation email is sent, and payments are processed monthly.

We confirm that your subscription has been successfully cancelled as per your request.
We also inform you that no cost has been generated since it was within the trial period.

SPAM

I do not recognise this company I’ve not subscribed to it but it has taken £40.56 from my account. I’ve just contacted my bank to stop this pending transaction. Hopefully they can do this.
I can see that others have had a similar experience. How on Earth can they do this?

I just need everyone to know that £40.56 was taken from my account which I knew nothing about, the bank wouldn’t help as it was a transaction made by me apparently so I contacted myhelpshopping[removed by editor] by phone to complain, they said I’d subscribed to them which I had no knowledge of. The good bit, they cancelled the subscription immediately and refunded my money so I guess they are legitimate. Hope this helps others. Contact number is 0800 041 8781 Good luck.

My Credit Card showed an amount of…£40.56

My Credit Card showed an amount of £40.56 deducted from my Clarity Card! I have never heard of this company SHOP24 and how this happened on line is beyond me. I contacted the Halifax straight away who said it was a scam but they have not refunded my money. I can only think this is a scam but I need my money back!

I have no idea who this company is and
I have no idea how they latched onto me but they've removed £29.99 from my account and sent me a 'fake' email suggesting they're happy to have me as a member and offering me services that don't exist and I did not ask for.

Unauthorised attempt to take money - bank detected fraud

Attempted to take £30 from my son’s bank card - unauthorised. He has no idea who they are and hasn’t knowingly signed up to anything. Bank detected it as potential fraud and stopped the transaction but then blocked his card leaving him unable to withdraw cash or spend in shops, and more importantly - get home on the bus!! He’s got to wait for a new card now.
