I just received another overseas shipment from MyGermany and very happy with this service. Items were packaged well and sent quickly when I consolidated etc. I look forward to using this service in the future and would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The support is atrocious.
They expect you to pay upfront for the item + concierge, but they take 3-4 business days to respond to e-mail.
The phone number does not help you if you are a international customer. Also, NO LIVE-CHAT support either and no Whatsup support as well.
I've sent an e-mail to them detailing my issue and asked to make me understand how the process goes to know if I should pay for their services or not. I asked for transparency, simply. Not just "trust me" services.
After 5 e-mails asking for update and explaining my side, they come back to you with "how can I help you?"
If they act like this with you, imagine how they would act if your parcel is lost, broken, destroyed etc. I asked them details of their policy regarding mishaps like this and refused to answer.

If there were an option to give zero stars, I would have chosen it. In my experience, even one star feels too generous for myGermany’s service.
I am a private individual building a house in Seoul for myself and my family. I have always known that German faucets and kitchen appliances are outstanding, and I wanted to install them in my new home. I carefully selected various items and began looking for a company that could handle the delivery.
There were some Korean forwarding companies, but they had loopholes in their VAT refund systems and offered only air freight. That is why I turned to myGermany’s Concierge Service. Their website seemed to describe exactly the service I was looking for. I signed up and placed five orders.
From what I understood, myGermany accepts up to 10 items per supplier under one order. Accordingly, I placed four orders from three suppliers, plus one more order for a missing item.

My original plan was to ship urgent items by air freight and less urgent ones by sea freight. According to their website, customers can freely split or consolidate delivered packages. (In fact, orders 499510 and 499701 were consolidated by myGermany without my request, but since it worked in my favor I did not complain.)
However, order 495209 took too long to arrive at the myGermany warehouse from the supplier, and due to my construction schedule it became urgent. On August 29, 2025, I requested air shipment for order 495209. Instead, they checked the package consolidated from 499510 and 499701, posted a quote for that, and left 495209 untouched for two weeks.
During this period, I sent repeated emails asking about my orders and shipping requests, but they never opened or replied to my messages. I even called the phone number on their website, left my name, membership number, order number, phone number, and detailed request on their answering machine, but no one ever called me back.
Eventually, when I moved the consolidated package of 499510 and 499701 into Outbox, a quote appeared, so I paid for it. But after payment I realized that 499510 still remained in Outbox while only part of the shipment had been processed. I immediately canceled it and confirmed the cancellation by email.
On September 9, 2025, the Freight Team finally replied, admitting they had issued the wrong quote two weeks earlier. They apologized and waived the storage fee, and at last provided a quote for 495209. I paid the freight charge on September 10, feeling relieved that I would finally receive my goods.
But I never received a FedEx tracking number. On September 11, I had to email them again to ask for it. Only then did the Freight Team respond, telling me that my order required a customs declaration and asking me to sign a power of attorney form. I cannot imagine how much longer I would have been left waiting if I had not taken the initiative to send that email.
This is what I have been going through with myGermany. The two weeks of neglect caused serious delays in my construction schedule and significant financial losses. I am now very worried about what may happen with my remaining orders.

The 224€?? No Answers, No Address, No response mails. Just like fight the winds and calling the Rocks. Still waiting for any reply. I just don’t believe that this kind of thing exists in our world.

Lost Package - NO HELP FROM MYGERMANY
As the CEO and founder of MYGERMANY we'd like to ask Christian Schmalisch to comment on the weak response we've received from his company, the very company that he founded.
After a full 10 days with no shipping updates MYGERMANY have been utterly useless and totally incompetent. They NEVER answer the phone and, at best, will reply to emails once, maybe twice and then thats it, you're done with you and seemingly refuse to deal with your issue any more.
Trying to get through to DHL Paket directly is made impossible by their decision not to deal with non-account holders. So, on that basis, we have no choice but to rely on MYGERMANY, the company we put our faith in, to deal with DHL directly. To-date they have failed and ask if they're happy to be measured by their failures or successes?
Why can just one person at MYGERMANY not take this matter up on our behalf? Why is it deemed the better option to ignore disgruntled customers than help them?
None of MYGERMANY's actions make any sense so take our advice, walk on and try another more professional company who might be willing to answer their telephone and quickly deal with your problem.

Initially, communication was prompt and courteous, with clear promises regarding purchase and shipment. However, this was followed by complete silence — no replies to emails or any further updates. Fortunately, I had not made any payment.
Later i learned that my concierge had turned sick and he appologised for not getting back to me. By that time i had taken my business elsewhere

Their service was never excellent, but it has now deteriorated. For example, their shipping calculator shows six possibilities, ranging from 62€ to 296€. When you ship your item, you have only one option: UPS Express, priced at 526€, provided shipping is possible. You cannot reach them by phone; you always get the answering machine—no call back, of course. Incoming shipments take up to three days to be booked, consolidating shipments up to four days. Actual shipping can take up to 3 days. What's the point of express shipping, then? Cannot recommend.
Extremely Disappointed – Unreliable Service
We have been working with this company for some time. While their service and response time were never exceptional, it was tolerable—until our most recent experience, which was unacceptable on every level.
In our latest order (chocolate marshmallow products), they stored our goods in their warehouse for over a month during extremely hot weather, despite our repeated requests for urgent dispatch. Our follow-up emails were ignored or responded to with long delays—often more than a week. Excuses were given, but no real action was taken.
When they finally shipped the goods, they charged us a fee that was **35% higher** than the typical rate without justification. Worse, the product arrived completely **melted and spoiled**, causing us a loss of **over €2,000**.
We submitted several claims to their claims department, all of which were **ignored**. Additionally, they continued to charge us for a **premium monthly plan**, **even after we formally canceled and they confirmed the cancellation**. This is not only unethical—it borders on fraudulent behavior.
I strongly advise others to **avoid doing business with this company**. They have shown themselves to be **unreliable, unresponsive, and untrustworthy**.

ordered a lawnmower robot through their concierge service for delivery to thailand. initial email contacts were promising, so I sent them 2,800 euros to cover cost of item, concierge fee and freight to thailand. after that, communication was a one way stream. I received some pictures of the item showing that they ordered and received it, but zero explanation of what the next step would be. email inquiries met with silence. after about two weeks I had it and informed them that I would request a charge back through my credit card company and report them to the police. then all of a sudden I got a message that dhl shiping had been arranged. when i asked for a tracking number, it took a few more days until I received that. several days later I checked with dhl who informed me that the shipment was created but no pick up had been requested. email to myG again, who assured me that it had been picked up. dhl still didn't have a request for pick up. i told myG that i had it with their run around and lies and that I had informed my bank to initiate a charge back.a week later, i suddenly received a notification from dhl that a delivery was headed my way. obviously myG's bank informed them of the charge back request and they needed to provide shipment details. customs in thailand was another hurdle because no proof of purchase was submitted by them - a concierge service would have provided that. I finally was able to get it cleared and shipped to my place. the whole ordeal took 7 weeks instead of maybe two, generously speaking. not once did I hear from the so called concierge, who took a 10% commission. stay away from this business unless you're a masochist!

I sent out my packages to myGermany warehouse after that I came and read bad reviews in here and to be honest I got scared so I contacted them through mail because it's the only way to contact them, and they told me that there is nothing to worry about.

Somethings to make myGermany is to update website and make it more easy to use and add some icons and organise it, add live chat that would help to grow because people want to get answers fast and lower shipping rates.

There are some reviews claiming that MyGermany is a scam site, and that was not at all my experience, (though I was terribly worried while waiting for my package after reading some of the reviews here) - So I want to leave an honest review of my experience, for those who may be here nervous about their packages and wondering about the legitimacy of MyGermany.
It took a while, but I received my package today, and it came packaged safely- I am beyond thrilled & relieved.
I found MyGermany's customer service to be very, very good. They always answered within 24 hrs on their work days. And they were always very kind.
All in all, the process took about a month from when I ordered the item/had it shipped to MyGermany to receiving it today. And part of the delay was due to the item being marked as dangerous goods and getting held up by DHL while they waited for the shipper declaration from MyGermany.
There were some bumps in the road, and a bit of nervous waiting, but I am super grateful for the service they provided.

* The customer support team answered my email very quickly and helped
* The process to get something sent to MyGermany then choose what you want to do with your package is reasonably straightforward and the options are all clearly priced which is nice
* They shipped really quickly once they had the parcel which was great!
The bad:
* The website is very old, it made me wonder first time I looked if it was a scam but I think it's just been around for a long time, they could do with a UI refresh
* I understand MyGermany must have a huge backlog of items but I waited over 2 days for my expensive item and nothing showed on their website. When I hit 50 hours since delivery I emailed support who told me 24 to 48 hours was usual. After I clarified my long wait time my parcel suspiciously appeared in the portal an hour later. Perhaps a coincidence!
If not for the long wait and email exchange this would have been a 4 or maybe 5 star experience.

I have made two orders with this company and lost around 1000€ on this. Fist time I used the proxy service. I received the parcel opened with most parts missing. The received parcel weighed a few kilos less than the received parcel at myGermany. MyGermany could not help no idea what happened.
Second order via the order service. Ordered paid and wait a 1 month now. Sent a question and a blank response with only a greeting. Assume this money ended up in the party budget. Dont make business with this fake company. There are others that actually does a good job.
