I’d been going down the AI rabbit hole for months trying to figure out how to actually apply it in a real business (I’m in construction, so not exactly bleeding-edge tech territory). Everyone talks about “going AI-native,” but in practice it’s either vaporware or tools that don’t fit how our industry actually works.

Came across MYG Media after meeting one of their guys at a networking event (randomly enough, not even AI-focused), and the difference was pretty immediate.

They actually understand compliance and risk (huge for us). They even looped in legal support to make sure everything was airtight, which I didn’t expect at all.

We ended up rolling out an internal assistant (we jokingly named it “Kevin”… yeah, not proud of that one), and it’s honestly been kind of a game changer. It handles a ton of the repetitive stuff, helps with documentation, and weirdly enough has boosted team morale because people feel like they’re finally using modern tools instead of being stuck in 2018.

Biggest thing for me: they keep iterating. It’s not a “build it and disappear” situation they’re constantly shipping updates and improving the system based on how we’re using it.
Anyway, not trying to sound like a shill, just genuinely wasn’t expecting much going in and ended up pretty impressed. If you’re in a more traditional industry and struggling to make AI actually useful, these guys are worth a look.
