# Complete Waste of Money - Stay Away from MyCaptain
I took MyCaptain's Digital Marketing course on an educational loan. Big mistake. My money is completely wasted, and I'm writing this to warn others.
When I faced financial hardship and requested an EMI pause, they flat-out denied it. Instead of helping, they then threatening to damage my CIBIL score. Their customer support has been completely unresponsive for weeks no replies to calls or emails. They took my money through a loan and simply disappeared.
I'm now stuck paying EMIs for a worthless course from a company that won't even answer my calls. Once they have your money, they don't care about you at all. MyCaptain only cares about collecting payments, not actually educating or supporting students.
DO NOT enroll in MyCaptain courses. DO NOT take a loan for their programs. Choose reputable platforms with actual student support instead. Save your money and avoid MyCaptain completely.

Public Poll
Public Poll: Have You Also Faced Loan / Refund Issues with This Institute?
Review:
I am raising this as a public poll to understand how many people faced similar issues.
In my case, I was asked to share personal details for EMI eligibility, but later a loan of ₹50,589 was processed without clear explanation, and I have been facing recovery calls and CIBIL impact since then.
🔍 Please respond below (comment your option):
A. No issues – everything was clear and smooth
B. Faced sales pressure before joining
C. Loan/EMI processed without full understanding
D. Refund/support issues after payment
E. Harassment / continuous recovery calls
I have already filed complaints with Cybercrime, RBI, and proceeding legally.
I noticed similar patterns in other reviews, so I want to understand the real situation from people.
If you have faced any of the above, please respond with the option letter in comments.
Don’t take admission
Don’t take admission — not worthy of trust.
I had a very disappointing experience with MyCaptain’s Digital Marketing program inquiry and admission process.
On 20th March, I inquired about the course and attended the counseling/session where everything about the program was explained in detail. Initially, the counseling process was smooth, and I was interested in proceeding.
When the admission process started, I informed them that I wanted to opt for the EMI option. They asked for my details to check eligibility, after which I started receiving repeated calls and pressure to fill out the loan application form.
I was okay with the EMI and loan process, but before registering for any loan, I wanted complete clarity regarding which lender they were using, the loan terms, repayment details, and other important information. I clearly informed them that it was March-end, a very busy time at work, and that I needed some time to review everything properly before proceeding.
Despite informing them more than 10 times that I was busy and would get back once free, the calls and messages continued constantly. It felt extremely pushy and disrespectful of my time.
Because of the constant pressure, I stopped replying for some time. Later, when I finally responded and clearly stated that I was not interested at the moment only because I was busy and wanted to register later when I had time, I received extremely unprofessional and rude messages from their team, along with a call.
The messages sent to me were completely unacceptable and disrespectful. Instead of understanding a potential student’s situation, they chose to be rude and insulting.
This experience made it very clear that their priority seems to be getting admissions and money rather than respecting a student’s time, concerns, and need for clarity.
I cannot comment on the course quality itself because I never joined, but based on the behavior of their admission/counseling team, I am honestly grateful that I did not take admission.
A platform that cannot treat prospective students with professionalism and respect during the admission process raises serious concerns about trust and support later on.
Would not recommend based on this experience.

Total Scammers
These people provide only basic stuff at high prices with mentors who are non professionals, their only goal is to make money. They compel you into partial payments and then be like it's not refundable, these guys are just scammers stay away.

It was very informative and the way Captain Rishika explained things were very insightful and could relate to everything she was trying to convey. I really loved hearing the other students share their views too about their opinions and thoughts on a particular topic which couldnt have been possible without Rishika ma'am 's way of managing the session. Would love to enroll for similar courses like this. Thank you to MyCaptain for the great experience.
Right knowledge & Ability to convey
Maam was really sweet and explained things in very simple manner. The classes were always engaging and the tasks were really fun and exiting to do.
This course is something you can never forget, its rooted in your head due to the way it was told.
I wish to learn more with Rushika Gupta maam .

Honest Review of MyCaptain’s Digital…
Honest Review of MyCaptain’s Digital Marketing Coaching Program
I joined MyCaptain's Digital Marketing course with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing. The communication from the team was frequent and persistent before I enrolled—primarily focused on selling the course. However, once the payment was made, there was a complete lack of follow-up or support.
There was no one to reach out to for guidance or accountability, and no system in place to track progress or offer flexibility. The course seems to rely heavily on external experts delivering sessions, but without any cohesive structure or personal support. When I was unable to continue due to personal reasons, I requested a postponement or extension, but there was no willingness to accommodate.
Worse, after the one-year access period, my account was deactivated without any reminder or opportunity to revisit the content. I had earlier posted a review expressing my concerns, and they contacted me promising to resolve the issue—asking me to take the review down. Trusting them, I complied, but sadly, nothing changed.
From my experience, the focus seems more on selling courses than truly supporting learners. It felt robotic and impersonal—definitely not the kind of mentorship or coaching I was hoping for.
Psychology
Absolutely loved the Psychology workshop by Rishika Gupta at MyCaptain! Her sessions were interactive, insightful, and truly eye-opening. She’s a fantastic mentor who made learning so enjoyable. Highly recommended for beginners and curious minds alike!
Waste of money.
Waste of money.
I applied for UI/UX course the learning system is so boring with coach with 0 guiding skills.
The whole management is based on slack.
No clear guidance of the completion of the course and if you are unable somehow it gets closed u can't access your certificate or placement.
Placement method is also not good.
Only 5-7 members got placed from my batch of at least 60 members.

The captain Ayushi mam is a very knowledgeable and kind teacher. Her classes enchanced my course experience and I learnt so many new things in the lectures. I'm really looking forward to join another course from my captain. Very educational and informative course.
My experience with the UI/UX Design…
My experience with the UI/UX Design course at MyCaptain was a total disaster. The team was quick to take payments and made huge promises about job assistance and market-standard packages. But once the course was over, crickets. The placement team completely ghosted me—calls went unanswered, and when I finally got through, I was fed nothing but weak excuses. The job portal is a joke, with no real UI/UX listings, and the few ‘opportunities’ that showed up were offers so low they barely even meet the minimum wage, let alone market standards. And let’s talk about @Ruhan Naqash—this guy was the one who promised me the world about job support and great packages. Fast forward, and all I got was a whole lot of nothing. Ruhan, if misleading students was an Olympic sport, you’d be bringing home the gold. Save your money and time, because MyCaptain is all talk and no walk. They take your cash, promise the moon, and then leave you stranded. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
