While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

What a HASSLE

What a HASSLE! Not worth the money and troubles. I had a very frustrating experience with TextMagic. Even when you are clearly following all legal requirements for SMS consent, their compliance team can be extremely nit-picky and difficult to work with. In our case, we already implemented explicit customer consent at checkout, which already aligns with common compliance practices. Despite this, TextMagic still demanded additional unnecessary website coding changes and extra implementation steps, even though the consent mechanism was already properly in place and visible to customers. Instead of acknowledging that the requirements were already met, the bureaucratic process turned into a long back-and-forth nightmare over technicalities. And they keep adding new requirements. Not only this, I've confirmed my account and they keep sending new verification forms.

For a service that is supposed to help businesses send simple transactional notifications, the onboarding and compliance review process felt overly bureaucratic and unnecessarily complicated.

Overall, the platform itself may work, but the compliance and approval process is far more difficult than it needs to be.
