I am sharing this review for informational purposes based strictly on my personal interactions with this business:
This was honestly the worst experience with any company ever. I’m a software expert—I work with hundreds of tools, literally—and I’ve never seen a business treat people with this much manipulation.
Here’s the deal: I had a major family health crisis and had to pause the new content channel I was building with Musicbed. I reached out and said, "Hey, I can’t do this right now, can we settle?" I NEVER EVEN published a single thing with their music!!
Fine, I signed up for the 12-m agreement, I'll take that...But it gets weirder.
I offered to just pay off the current year in full to be done with it. They told me that paying it off early is a "breach of contract," and they’d revoke my access to the music. ????? They want my money, but then they want to take away the service I just paid for. It’s a total cash grab.
The worst part? The software is rigged.
They actually have a button that says "Disable Renewal," but they keep it locked so it doesn't work! You can’t even set it to NOT renew for the next year—you're forced to email their team and hope they don't "trap" you again. I’m pretty sure this is actually illegal in California under the California Automatic Renewal Law (ARL), which requires an easy, online way to cancel.
In my opinion, this is abuse of power. They took my card info and then used it against me...
They aren't even doing this to support artists; they told me it's just their "business practice". If you value your money and your sanity, stick with Epidemic Sound. They treat you like a human being.
Rebuttal to MusicBeds Response:
The reality is your team was ready to screw me over, even though I paid in full... Allison multiple times told me I 'breached' the contract and not once offered me anything you mentioned.
She was so happy to use the contract against me, when again, I never ONCE used your music. No one gave me clear isntructions on how to get the most of what I paid for, considering my family had a medical emergency and again I never used the music.
Also, worth mentioning that in California having the ability to disable an account AS EASY AS SIGNING UP is a legal requirement, which in my opinion, having to reach out to support isn't as easy as signup. Look up: California Automatic Renewal Law (ARL)...

I've used various licensed music services, but none of them have the library that musicbed has - I was really shocked to see some of the artists on this platform are some of my favorite artists in general. I normally browse for hours to find a good track or two for a video, but my latest batch of videos took me a fraction of the time because the library is seriously just that good.
I had a copyright claim issue on YouTube today due to, admittedly, user error. I then whitelisted my channel, the claims cleared, but I was still had one claim that wouldnt clear on YouTube's end. I emailed support, and they got the issue solve within a few hours.
Very much recommend this service, my first month using them has been a breeze.
