Booked a 7 seat car and 16 seat bus

Booked a 7 seat car and 16 seat bus. Paid deposit.A couple of weeks before tour was due received an e-mail asking if I would combine the 2 rentals on to one 29 seat bus.This I was unable to do and it appeared to be accepted.When we got off cruise ship to go on tour no one turned up to meet us.Their phone number and Whatsap had no response.On returning to ship later I decided to e-mail them which is when I discovered an e-mail sent at 10.00 the day before which wanted me to confirm tour by that night as they say the ship was not sailing and so the booking was canceled They are now saying that deposit is non refundable as they kept tour open until 18.00.
