Mistake after mistake
Mistake after mistake. Disrespectful phone representative and condescending emails. I was given a $10 off discount code after a few of their service failures. (Mind you, I have spent $600 on fragrances there over 6 weeks.) They told me it was to “appease” me! Appease me?! That was literally the word they used. In actuality, I had been inquiring about a 2 perfume bottle purchase I made. Immediately after I purchased the items, they went on sale for $60 less than I had paid. I wanted to see if I could get a credit or something because I was about to buy another bottle. With each purchase I make, it seems like the item immediately goes on sale, which happens so frequently that it no longer seems like a coincidence. I digress…
When I couldn’t apply the code, I called and I was told I couldn’t use it during a sale/promotion period. Why does that matter? It’s only $10.
Then, a couple of weeks later, I received a $10 off promo code for my birthday since I’m a Circle member. I couldn’t use that code either, because you cannot use your birthday code if they have a sale or promo ongoing. (They have offers all of the time, so when am I supposed to use it?) My birthday falls on the week of a holiday. My date of birth has been in my account for 7 years now. Why send me something I cannot use?
Plus, they say they’ll send you this in the month of your birthday if you’re a circle member. They don’t say it’s going to be your actual date of birth. Why not just send the code on a week when I can use it? Why is my $10 promo code an inconvenience?
This is the tip of the iceberg. There are so many other failures. And it’s not just about the $10 codes. I wish they would just provide the right service and products on a reliable, functioning website, and keep the $10.
I sent inquiries this week and last with no response. Mugler makes me feel like I am lucky to purchase from them, instead of a customer who has spent hundreds of dollars on their website, alone. I had planned to purchase much more for the holidays, but this has really soured me.
