Mr Altin's was very quick to identify my problem with calls. The issue was my phone and not the Mucho connection. Excellent service

I have been using Mucho prepaid service for more than 5 years already. I am very happy with the service - it is stable and reliable.
I am not giving the last star just because of some minor issues with the web interface.

2 October: I applied to change my service provider to Mucho and have chosen to honor the expiry date of my contract with my current operator, which will expire on 31 October 2025. Namely, my agreement with Mucho shall start from either 31 October or 1 November.
8 October: At 13.01, I received an email from Mucho saying that my agreement with Mucho will start on 14.10.2025 10:00. I filed a complaint to Mucho and asked them to reschedule the starting date from 1 November.Later Mucho wrote, "We confirm that the charge has been processed successfully, and your activation date has been update to 03.11.2025 in our system". Obviously, Mucho messed up the dates again so I had to write to them again to correct the start date. Finally, they wrote me, "We confirm that the charge has been processed successfully, and your activation date has own been update to 30.10.2025 in our system"
16 October: I went out and found my mobile data was not working so I called my current operator, who told me that Mucho has filed the document asking to terminate my agreement with them immediately. I called Mucho and they told me that the activation date is 30 October so it was not their fault.
At this point, I was really speechless. If it was not Mucho´s fault, why Mucho sent me an email on 8 Oct telling me that my agreement with Mucho would start on 14.10.2025? Their service representative was pushing all the fault to my current operator.
To be honest, this was not the first time they made mistake. There was some minor but annoying mistakes which I even did not bother to bring them up again.
Not recommended at all. Very expensive and bad customer service. They do not communicate in a transparent way that their cancellation policy is 60 days… also, they didn’t deliver on time the SIM to my address previously shared and I ended up not using the SIM card due to arriving later than when I really needed it. They never gave me a refund or agreed to cancel immediately my SIM card, so I wasted almost 150CHF for nothing…There are much better phone companies with better customer service, cheaper and faster
There is no clean way to cancel within their cockpit. Need mail them or reach out some other way.
“Unlimited” data plan is in fact limited to incredibly low speeds once you pass a certain threshold, even loading a simple website takes up to 3 minutes. Downloading a basic app is upwards of 15 minutes.
SCAM ALERT!
MUCHO Mobile's so-called “unlimited” data plan is an outright lie. Their service is advertised as unlimited, yet customers quickly discover that data is severely limited—around 20GB per month—which is simply not enough for anyone who regularly streams movies/videos or uses multiple devices. What’s even more infuriating is the way they brush off these complaints. In responses to concerned customers, MUCHO Mobile essentially shifts the blame onto the user, insisting that the offer is intended only for strictly "mobile" usage and claiming that anyone using the data outside those narrow parameters is at fault.
Their responses come off as defensive and patronizing: rather than acknowledging the misleading promise of “unlimited” access, they argue that the restrictions are perfectly fine because the plan is designed solely for on-the-go use, not as a full replacement for home WiFi. If they had simply been upfront about the actual limitations, they wouldn’t be forced to treat frustrated customers like criminals for expecting what they were promised.
Moreover, their cancellation policy is another red flag. The “60 days to the end of a month” rule is nothing more than a sneaky trap that extends your payments based on a calendar quirk. For example, if you cancel on January 31, the rule is that your service continues for "60 days to the end of a month." Because February only has 28 days, you don't complete a full 60-day period by the end of March. This means your service isn’t terminated until the end of April—resulting in an extra month of charges that you weren’t expecting. And this is exactly what happened to me.
This, combined with their opaque and misleading advertising practices, makes it clear that MUCHO Mobile is more interested in locking customers into paying extra than in offering a service that lives up to its promise.
The lack of transparency and the patronizing responses make it feel like a scam run by a business model that acts more like a mafia than a reputable service provider. They’d likely win more loyal customers if they simply offered what they advertised and communicated honestly, rather than hiding behind tricky terms and vague “mobile use” clauses.
Consumers deserve better—clear, honest advertising and a fair contract are the basics of any trustworthy service. MUCHO Mobile’s tactics are unacceptable and must be called out. Beware and look for providers who respect transparency and treat their customers fairly.
All the best to savvy customers who do their research before signing up—and may MUCHO’s shameless management face the consequences of their deceptive dirty practices.
Mucho sells their Swiss Abo as ”Unlimited data”. How they can be allowed to do that, when they in fact limit the data to extremely low levels, is something for an Ombudsman to look into. A normal consumer today uses several gigabyte data a day while commuting or waiting for a flight. But Mucho thinks a few Netflix movies is excessive and will turn off the data for anyone consuming above a few tens of gigabyte data per month.
In the EU this product would be called for what it is, a fraud.

The worst network in Switzerland. They pretend to offer unlimited internet but after a while they will reduce it to very low to 0 speed. I'm not an avid internet surfer and it happened to me after 20 days on the first month. I directly canceled my contract with them and went somewhere where ethic still means something. DO NOT GO WITH MUCHO

I've come to Switzerland and Mucho has proposed a very adapted and cheap prepaid solution

Mucho coverage in Geneva is pathetic. I barely use this service and when I do it is constantly searching for network. We are in 2024 and to think that this is what we have to expect, in a country like Switzerland of all places is quite unbelievable.

Bought this prepaid card to have some connectivity during my trip in Switzerland. They ask for your private data to activate your SIM card manually but after sending all the required information and passport scans, nothing happened for the whole duration of my trip. Their customer service number just plays back recordings of random calls. Insane. Just a scam.

I've had a MUCHO Mobile subscription for over a year. I am very satisfied with the network coverage, the internet speed and also with the responsiveness and friendliness of the customer service. They are very happy to answer my questions and I don't wait very long when I call them. Honestly, I recommend MUCHO without hesitation.

I must confirm many of the comments already received here (I wish I had searched before) that:
1) Data is in practice limited to 20G per month, not sufficient if you regularly watch films
2) conditions are less attractive than competition: initial fee, 2-3 months notice when cancelling, activation as soon as you receive the sim card via post, not when you use it the first time.
All in all, not recommended, and you better consider alternative providers.

Dear Muchomobile CEO Jose Luis Herrero,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to request the cancellation of my Muchoswiss postpaid subscription. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the service I have received.
Firstly, I would like to express my disappointment regarding the reduction in bandwidth after reaching a certain data usage limit. As a Swiss young citizen, I heavily rely on a reliable and consistent internet service. Lowering my bandwidth to such a limited speed after reaching 30GB of data usage, especially when I typically use around 5GB per day, is not fair at all. It negatively impacts my ability to access and utilize the internet, which is an essential part of our society's future.
From now, I will not hesitate to advise all the people I meet to refrain from subscribing to Muchoswiss. I believe it is important to share my negative experience with others to prevent them from facing similar frustrations and disappointments.
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that there are other service providers, such as Digital Republic, who offer unlimited speed and more affordable plans. For example, their IoT offers for 10CHF per month are quite competitive when compared to Muchoswiss' 20CHF per month. This significant difference in both cost and service quality raises concerns about the value I am receiving from Muchoswiss.
Moreover, I am disappointed in the lack of consideration for the density of the area in determining bandwidth limits. I live in a place with a limited customer base, and it would have been reasonable for Muchoswiss to allow for more bandwidth consumption in such areas. Taking into account the specific needs and circumstances of customers in different locations would have been a more customer-centric approach.
Due to these reasons, I have decided to terminate my Muchoswiss postpaid subscription. I believe that a fair and reliable internet service is crucial for the development and progress of our society. Unfortunately, I do not feel that Muchoswiss meets these criteria.
I sincerely hope that you take my feedback into consideration and work towards improving your services in the future. I urge Muchomobile to reevaluate its policies and adapt to the evolving expectations and demands of customers, especially the younger generation, who rely heavily on the internet for various purposes.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Because my credit card has now expired, I couldn't pay the final blackmail charge to be rid of them. Why? Because only credit cards can be used to pay - read the terms of business. I asked them to send me a bill with their IBAN and I would transfer the amount. No go because - right - only credit cards can be used to pay. Do yourself a favor and avoid this bunch like the plague. No provider could be worse.

I fully understand all the bad reviews. This is by far the worst telecom compagny in Switzerland. I paid 50 CHF for traveling Europe for a month and I had connectivity issue everytime I enter a new country and I had to do the initiation process all over again. On top of this, I bought a PREpayed SIM card especially because I knew I didn't wanted more than a month of use. But obviously this is one of those companies that tries to hide the fact that you will be automatically charge at the end of your month for the next one... and even when I contacted customer service a few hours after been charged, they couldn't be bothered to help. They made me understand that this was how they operate, preying on surcharge from their customers. I can provide all the conversations that I had. They're definitely not here to help you.
The service was so bad that a had to write a review somewhere online. I will never use them again and I will make sure that none of my friends and family ever use them too.
