Disappointing customer experience

Purchased a product through mtools tech and found that it did not work as I had anticipated. The issue was partially my fault, partially mtools fault, but regardless the product would not work for what I needed.

I reached out to customer support about setting up a return and was quickly met with rudeness from the support team. They were very reluctant to give me information on how to return the product.

It took 8 email exchanges until they said I could return it, but only after they verify the condition of every chip. I would have to send individual photos of every single chip in original condition, and include scanned data from every single one, before they would even share an address to return the devices to.

Needless to say, I decided it was not worth my time to jump through hoops for the return. The chips were all in untouched condition except for 2 which had erasable data written to them.

I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, as there’s virtually no customer service or support offered by mtech tools for their products.

For every email you receive, we have almost replied within 20 minutes. Our customer team attaches great importance to the problem you encountered, and explained at the beginning that Magic NTAG needs Android’s NFC to modify the card, which iOS does not support, and sent you instructions and App links.

Until you said you needed to return the goods, we also made a complete request to check the status of the card, which is in line with the verification of the Magic card.

And then we received your comment here.

We’re still open to accept retuning after the goods are confirmed.
