Unacceptable
I only ordered one bed, but I received two beds on the 22th December.
I email the next day to inform them of their mistake, but your offices were closed.
If I hadn't emailed them , they would never even have known that they delivered two beds to me and this is the thanks I get for honesty.
Someone contacted me today and informed me that the bed could not be uplifted until week beginning 8th January. Stating the courier they use was closed for the holidays. I work in distribution and I can arrange a courier for next day delivery with any company, they just did not want to pay for the uplift with another courier company. Shocking.
I informed him this is simply not good enough, as having this extra bed in my hallway over Christmas with all my family over was a complete nightmare. With young children in the house and lots of family members, this ruined my Christmas.
The customer service person, then suggested that I should not have accepted two beds. Seriously, I can’t believe he said this, how am I meant to know how many boxes that a bed come in. I was not at home at the time and the person at my home waiting for the delivery would not be checking or opening boxes to check a delivery that was for me and refusing boxes that are delivered in good faith. If someone delivers 6 boxes, that's what you believe the bed comprises of 6 boxes.
I have now been informed after much anger that someone will uplift the bed tomorrow.
This is not great customer service, you order one bed, get two, I have to fight to get it uplifted, get told I shouldn't have accepted it in the first place.
I asked to be compensated for the mistake you made and all the stress it put me through having these boxes in my hallway over the Christmas period, I was told the company never gives compensation to anyone.
This is such bad way to treat a customer. I won’t be buying another item from your company again nor recommending you to anyone.
