I received excellent communication from Mr. Fix support, which arranged an expert to assist me sooner than I had requested. While the problem itself could not be solved (not because of the expert) I have a clear idea of the situation and what needs to be done. I'm happy I contacted Mr. Fix.

Requested help for a clogged sink, including all job details. The contractor ( Dm&Cobei construct) asked no questions. There were multiple technical issues with their website so I had to call them multiple times to even schedule an appointment. Then 2 people showed up at my house with a big machine
this was not needed at all. the sink was fixed in around 15 minutes. the machine was NOT used, only 1 person was required. I was charged 177 euros.
when asked why: the reason is 2 people and the equipment which was clearly not required . This was done on purpose in my opinion to charge as much as possible. I was not informed of this before the job either

This company is a total rip off. The service provider gave a quote listing the items to be used, however said 'labor hours' therefore although it implied materials were included in the quote, theuy were not...I then received an invoice after the fact for half again the original quote. When I tried to question I got no response for over a month (Tried whatsapp, and email and phoning) when they finally contacted me, they essentially bullied me. Raised voices on the phone, told me they are trying to help me, but when I asked ok what can they do for me the answer was - pay the bill.... They took no ownership, did not want to talk to me, did not ask me what the problem was and essentially told me that the only people that knows what happened is the service provider and me so just pay. I even had examples of ridiculous amounts of items that they supposedly used for a tiny job - they said the provider might buy things and leave excess bought - there was nothing left. Service provider was 'Peter'. Totally protected by Mr Fix it so essentially they are the 'middleman' that takes no responsibility themselves, but allows no questions about the veracity of quality of the service provider leaving one in a totally untenable, traumatic (whatsapps at all times of day and night, raised voices, bullying) position. Not only can I not recommend, but I would strongly advise never to use them

Our experience was great.
We had a “simple” issue with one of our radiators: we had to put it back where it was after painting behind it, and it was very heavy and the connection with the pipes was tight and with very little wiggle room.
MrFix found an expert in no time, and the expert spoke a very good English. He showed up on time, helped me with the radiator, made sure that all the other radiators were ok, started up the boiler and managed the pressure of the system. In the process, he explained to us everything. He left after two hours once everything was fixed and completed.
I guess I got lucky with MrFix because the expert was very professional and friendly.

Big scammer! This company is a total scam. Their services are unreliable and unprofessional, and I regret not reading the reviews before hiring them. They charge fees without actually resolving the issues they are hired to fix. On top of that, their staff is extremely rude when asked about resolving the issue, showing zero sense of customer service. Why run a service company if you can’t solve the problem in the first place?

MR. FIX WILL CREATE A USELESS WHATSAPP GROUP, DUMP YOU WITH A CONTRACTOR, AND THEN DENY ALL RESPONSIBILITY. WHEN THE JOB FAILS, THEY SAY “YOU HIRED A CONTRACTOR, NOT MR. FIX.” THEY STILL INVOICE YOU EVEN WHEN THE ISSUE IS NOT FIXED
My case:
Airco showed E7 error.
First contractor backed out.
Second contractor failed to resolve the issue.
Instead of sending another technician, Mr. Fix sent me an invoice.
Despite warning them I had been scammed before, they repeated the same behavior
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR: AVOID MR. FIX.
THEY DO NOT SOLVE PROBLEMS, THEY CREATE THEM.

It was an awesome experience. Everything went well.

I would not recommend anybody to do business with this sketchy company. We hired this company to install our shower door. We received an estimated quote between 2-3 manhours (EUR 85 per hour). We called them to discuss the price again as we had already seen some bad reviews and did not want to pay more than needed. The lady on the phone ensured us that it would take not more than 3 manhours in total while 2 people came to install the shower door. The people came and installed the door. We already noticed it took them longer than expected so at one moment we discussed the time with them again and they said: we will finish installing the shower door for a fixed fee of 3 manhours in total. Afterwards, we received a invoice for 6 manhours (EUR 550 for installing a shower door) suddenly stating that this was multiplied because two people were installing it. The payment deadline has not been exceeded yet and they already threaten to assign the invoice to debt collectors. Furthermore, the shower door is not installed nicely, the communication is very bad (only through whatsapp, they do not respond to our mails or respond to our complains at all). So again, do NOT work with this company if you don't want to be scammed.

Scammers and more scammers. Never using this service again. I hired a plumber to just remove a radiator and got charged 300 euros in total for a 1.5 hours job.
Got charged 85 euros for a first visit of an "expert on plumbing" just to tell me that I needed to drain the radiator.
The second visit with the radiator already drained by me, he came again, worked 30 mins, left during a full hour to buy 2 pipe stoppers (apparently it was to hard to predict he needed those during the first visit), then he came back to finish the job for 1 more hour. And of course I was billed for 50 euros of the stoppers and 85 euros of the travelling time to buy/get the stoppers.
When I asked for transparency about the costs of the materials, the contractor started threatening me with adding more and more costs (eg. grinder blade). This whole discussion happened in the WhatsApp group Mr. Fix creates with them and the contractor, and Mr. Fix was completely absent, not moving a finger.

I strongly advise others to avoid using MrFix if you value transparency, accountability, and basic customer service. My experience has been extremely disappointing. I booked a service request with them specifically for the repair of a kitchen extractor hood, scheduled for 15th July 2025, and went to great lengths to provide all necessary details well in advance — including model numbers, photos, and explicit requests to verify parts availability before confirming the appointment. I made it clear multiple times that this visit should involve actual repair work, not just an inspection. I even communicated directly with the technician through a WhatsApp group set up by MrFix to avoid any miscommunication. Despite all of this, the technician arrived, stayed barely 15-20 minutes, and merely confirmed that no parts were available — something that could easily have been checked remotely, sparing me the inconvenience. Shockingly, MrFix still charged me a full hour’s rate for this pointless visit, even though no work was done. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to pay their invoice despite this poor service. When I called their support team, I was met with rudeness and told to contact the technician via WhatsApp as they “could not do anything” — an incredibly unprofessional response. What’s worse is that MrFix made no effort to question why their handyman failed to verify the model details before confirming the appointment, despite my asking multiple times. This shows a complete disregard for the customer’s time, patience, and trust. Not holding their technician accountable and ignoring clear customer concerns is simply unacceptable and demonstrates they have no respect for the customer’s experience or expectations. Since then, I’ve followed up multiple times via email and WhatsApp with no reply. This is not just poor service; it’s a complete disregard for customers and a clear sign to avoid MrFix altogether. I cannot recommend them and strongly caution others from using their services.

We have used MrFix on a number of occasions for carpentry, white good repair and some general maintenance tasks.
I may have been fortunate, but I have not needed to wait for an expert.
The experts who carried out the work were friendly and professional and I would use them again.
MrFix responds quickly to enquiries and will work to find the best solution.
For the jobs I cannot do, I would first try MrFix.

Be careful before contacting this website. I tried to do a floor removal with them. I said it was a PVC floor, not glued. I need to remove the floor and subfloor and take everything to the disposal. Initially, it was around 89m², and they estimated 750 euros. I had to pay an expert to come; he measured and told me I would only need to remove 69m², but the new price was 1700 euros for no reason. And I had to pay for this visit.

Summary: Using Mr Fix is a lottery sometimes you will get ok tradesmen and sometimes you will get incompetent (or worse) tradesmen.
I've used Mr Fix a couple of times and it's been ok for 1 or 2 jobs with only minor issues but in March this year we had Abdul and his team come to install/prep underfloor heating, plastering, guest toilet and kitchen electrics. Worst contractor I've dealt with in 8 years of living in the Netherlands.
Main issues:
Smoking in house and leaving ciggerate butts on floor, unbelievable!
They brought rubbish from another job (large amount of fencing) and tried to dump it in our skip
Did not turn up for inspection for quote, did it via video call. On reflection I think this is a tactic so they can inflate the quote when they arrive, this forced us into buying an extra €2k of quick drying special cement because they did not give an accurate quote.
Could not follow clear design drawings that were taped to the wall: Electrical sockets missed or in the wrong place, single sockets instead of double.
Quality of work was poor, so they have to come back again and again to fix the workmanship this caused us to delay other contractors. They pvc contractors had to equalise twice they claimed it was the worst subfloor they'd had to equalise
Take a look at Mr Fix T&C's they state if the quality is not good they will come back and fix it...if you're on a time squeeze like most renovations then this is not a helpful policy!

Took more than a week for Mr Fix to find an "expert" for me for a relatively easy job. Than it took another two weeks and two visits for an expert to tell me that he cannot do anything. I was charged around 400 euro for his hours and supplies, wasted three weeks, had to cancel working appointments to meet the so–called expert, and absolutely nothing was done in the end.
Independent expert I found locally fixed the problem in 25 minutes.
Would never use this service again and have no reasons whatsoever to recommend it.
