We had a really disappointing experience at Mr Fogg’s . Despite having a reservation for just 1.5 hours, we waited over an hour for our first drinks to arrive. The “snacks” we ordered took 65 minutes, and by the time they finally showed up, we were already halfway through our limited reservation slot.

The cocktails themselves were poor—nothing special and definitely not worth the wait or price, Service was just as bad: slow, disorganized, and not once did anyone acknowledge the delays or offer an apology.

To top it all off, we were handed the bill with a service charge automatically added, which felt like a joke given the terrible experience.

Absolutely wouldn’t recommend. There are plenty of places that offer better drinks, better service, and respect their customers’ time.

Well this experience was well presented & all round a good idea with a few reservations is it worth £40 per person NO also its a shame there is only one murder you can detect so when you know how the murder is there is no reason to do it again. The complementary drink & nibbles was nice we was not offer any other food or drinks in the whole 2 & half hours we was there. Also the dress code is confusing as it says smart & casual we took a bag of spear clothes with us just in case as we was traveling from Birmingham i had phoned about this code with like understanding of it we wore Combat Trousers with T/shirt & slip-on trainers & we both got in ok with no mention of out attire so carrying a bag of spear clothes as a waist of time & inconvenience there dress code should be either relaxed or made a lot clearer for people to understand.

Absolutely atrocious service by the manager of this establishment. This lady asked us to leave the premises.
I had ordered a whiskey and my wife had asked for tea, which we were told this establishment do not serve tea. “” So my wife ordered a water, as she does not drink at the moment as she is undergoing treatment for liver cancer.
I suggest an ice cream parlour on the opposite side of the lane for a tea which my wife decided to frequent as she was quite cold. “ London “ “ No Tea “
Soon after my wife arrived back with her tea we were told by a nice member of staff that we cannot bring items from another establishment into there premises “ we are seated outside on the lane way”
This was a shock as we wanted to purchase tea at this premises but were told they do not serve tea.
My wife who is struggling with a cancer diagnosis was asked to leave if she didn’t give up her tea.
I asked for a refund for what we ordered and we would leave, this all happened so quickly I had not even put my hand on the glass of which the whiskey sat in.
Along came the most rudest person I might have ever endured in my life, I found out after from the absolute gentleman at a doorman that this lady is the manager. I could not believe this rude, obnoxious, person could be in charge of any premises.
I’m not going to go into any specifics of what this lady said to me, our the manner in which she treated me, but as a business man myself I can assure you, if one of my customers were treated in the manner that this despicable person spoke to me and my wife, they would be looking for a new career.
I hope the owners of this establishment see this and are made aware of what an absolute disgraceful person that was in charge of this establishment on the night of 04/07/24

15/06/2024 was my first time at this place, and it was a terrible experience. There were three couples, and all of us had the same opinion about the place! The waitress who attended to us was very rude. After only FIVE MINUTES at the table, she started warning us that our time was running out, and we were constantly reminded of this. At one point, I ordered a drink and was told that I could only receive it if I drank it within 15 minutes! It was an embarrassing situation! When we left, I looked for the manager to report the incident, and to my surprise, I was treated with the same lack of manners we received from the waitress! We will never return to this place again!
