I booked a man-and-van removal service with Marcel via a third-party broker site. I paid in advance and the job started, but after about three hours he abandoned the move, left me stranded, and became threatening when I asked for the job to be completed.
At a vulnerable time after my mother’s death, he took my money and never finished the service. Attempts to contact him afterwards failed, and the business website later disappeared or stopped working.
I pursued the matter through the small claims court and was awarded a County Court Judgment (CCJ) against him – Case No. M05ZA034 – for about £800.
His business displays no valid company information, address, or legally compliant privacy/terms on his site, and I would strongly advise others not to use this service.
