When Trolls are not aware of being Trolls

When you say something someone doesn´t like and that person is one of those people who actually lives there 24/7 or even worse, lives there AND moderates the forum, you are into trouble. So next they jump onto you like flies on sh**, get into a conversation with you and then, of course, blame YOU for "derailing" the thread. Funny thing: This happened 2 years ago and when I decided to give this site another chance, it happened again with the exact same users behaving the same way they did 2 years ago. They are just Trolls without being aware of it and of course, it is a Hivemind too, so that Hive is as well unable to see who of them is trolling. I thought the Steamforums are bad but this one is even worse.

Don't waste your time

The site movieforums.com is run like a tiny little town, by a geeky and controlling overseer who calls himself "yoda." The small movie club thinks a tremendous lot of themselves, though actually they are irrelevant. Joining a site and chatting about movies sounds fun, right? In this case, wrong. A highly controlled environment favoring a few longterm members (over 20+ years there). So basically, it's this little club of people who live there. On a message board. If I'd known what it was, I'd never have joined. Best to stay away.
