Movement for Modern Life is an…
Movement for Modern Life is an exceptional platform for yoga, quigong and other centering movement styles. There are a number of quite talented teachers leading classes that allow us to take class at times that are convenient for us, at a reasonable rate. I highly recommend Movement for Modern Life.

Just joint and very happy
Just joint and very happy
I recently joint MFML and practising yoga with various teachers. Your website has a very practical set up which makes it easy to search for the style I feel like to do. I am also very satisfied with all your teachers. A British friend I met on a yoga retreat in Greece recommended MFML to me. So glad she did.

Movement for Modern Life - fantastic!
I'm always dubious about subscribing but after signing up for a free trial, I couldn't wait to become a fully fledged subscriber. I'm loving it! And I have to add that I hated any of the Yoga classes I had tried previously, online or at the gym. MFML has gotten me into good habits, I exercise daily, my mental health has improved as has my flexibility, I feel much calmer and less stressed. The class tracker feature is great for keeping a log of my activity. I love all the teachers but particularly Adam Hocke - he's fantastic and Amy Holly who I have just discovered. There always seems to be a new class to try. The website is really easy to navigate and it's quick and easy to find a class for your level, duration and teacher.
Thank you MFML

Brilliant classes and excellent value for money
This is a brilliant site for yoga and pilates (and more). There is a wide range of classes (from Ashtanga and Forrest to Yin and restorative) and the teachers are amazing. These are top teachers, who really take the time to explain how to approach and achieve each pose. If you don't live in London, you simply wouldn't have access to this calibre of teacher. The subscription is excellent value for money.
The only thing I would improve would be access to the 'Movers Group'. I'm not on Facebook (and don't want to be!) so I'm unable to be part of MFML's online community. Maybe incorporate this into the main website in future?

Great resourse
Diverse range of instructors and classes with an easy search function if you know what practice you would like to do. Classes of varying length, styles, abilities and to suit different areas of the body. Also some interesting challenges.
Much more difficult though to choose a full body class at random unless saved as a favourite.
Overall a great resource.

Highly recommend
Movement for Modern Life is a brilliant online studio. The site itself is very user friendly, simple to navigate and use. There are a wide range of classes, yoga styles and other movement styles. The classes are clearly marked to show what level they are aimed at/ suitable for, which I find really useful. Additionally there are a range of excellent courses and challenges. The approach is holistic, with articles and podcasts to support your yoga journey off the mat too. If you want an online studio that can support you to develop and grow in your practice, both on and off the mat, I would highly recommend this one!

An excellent resource for home-based yoga.
I’ve been practising yoga for several years, initially at classes & then when the pandemic & lockdown happened, I switched to practising at home. I wish I had known about Movement for Modern Life earlier. I’ve been using another web-based teacher who I really like, but was beginning to feel the need for more variety & the chance to try different styles of yoga. MFML offers all this & more. There’s a huge range of classes of different lengths, different teaching styles, different times from a few minutes to over an hour, and different levels of experience. After 4 weeks of membership I’m still getting to grips with all it has to offer. Not a cheap option but good value for money. Highly recommended for anybody interested in yoga.

Great teachers with menopause specialists
I am already a member of Gaia but it largely features American teachers. Movement for modern life has more excellent UK teachers such as Mercedes Sieff with whom I did my own teacher training and Petra Coveney reknowned Menopause yoga expert. Cannot recommend it highly enough
