The motorscan report is ok but if you're going to buy a car before you put down a deposit buy the premium report for £9.99, this is because the free one doesn't state if the car was an insurance write off

I found the Motorscan reports incredibly helpful when buying a car. One car I checked had recently been purchased from a salvage yard and another had an outstanding finance loan against it. Really helpful information before committing to buying a used car.
