Usually a 5 star service

Usually a 5 star service, not this time however.
This is the 4th car we have bought from Motorpoint in the last 2 years.
As I said , usually 5 star service
It has to be said though that the salesperson who dealt with us was amazing, very helpful and had plenty of time to go through everything and explain any queries we had etc, couldn’t fault her (Kate Smith at Birtley branch)
On collection of the car there should have been a mot and service carried out, I was informed that the mot had been done but the service hadn’t, no problem, can bring it back for service.
On checking car, it was found that the passenger seat switch wasn’t working,they took it to workshop and said required a new switch.
Switched ordered and car booked in for switch fitted and service.
So far so good 👍🏻
When I got home I noticed sat nav not working and car wasn’t showing as mot complete on gov website, also, car not cleaned inside, took photos and went back next day.
Workshop looked at satnav and said they would get back to me, they still said car had mot done.
On further investigation, workshop informed Kate that it hadn’t been done.
Received phone call, it needed to get booked in for sat nav repair.
Car was booked in for mot, service,sat nav and seat switch,
All completed and sorted without problem.
My gripe is however, that when I mentioned again about the interior and showed the pictures of the dirt etc inside the car I was told that customer services wouldn’t book it back in as it had already been in once for other stuff and wasn’t allowed to be booked in again so there was nothing they could do !!
That to me is not acceptable,
That one thing has spoilt an otherwise 5 star review for me.
Again, Kate was amazing throughout.
Everything else was great but selling a dirty car is a definite no for me.
Looks like I will be footing the bill to have a valet done on the car.

The young man Reece, was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Lee the salesperson was excellent…

Lee the salesperson was excellent throughout the process. I couldn’t fault his professionalism and commitment. It would have been 5 stars but I dropped one star as the PDI could have been better. Externally it was flawless but internally it would have benefitted from another 10 minutes with the hoover.

Excellent part exchange valuation, professional and courteous staff from the initial call to picking up my purchased vehicle. We needed to downsides our car as needs…

We needed to downsides our car as needs had changed. Jack our sales assistant from motorpoint helped us, looked at all our options and a car that my husband could easily get in and out of. We got our car in three days of coming in, so quick so helpful so knowledgeable. Thank you Jack and motorpoint for all your help from the past to the present.

From start to finish all interactions…

From start to finish all interactions with Motorpoint colleagues were fabulous. Everyone I spoke to and me were professional, friendly and accommodating. Lynn in the dealership at Birtley went over and above what I expected. It was a very personal service and at no point did I feel like I was just another customer. Thank you Motorpoint for making my experience of buying a new car personal. I’d highly recommend Motorpoint as a customer and especially the Birtley dealership.

Ty was extremely helpful

Ty was extremely helpful and very polite. He went through everything thoroughly and answered any questions or queries I had. He kept in touch the whole time from going to see the car to the day of collection. Would definitely recommend Ty to others and the whole experience was seamless.

If you looking to buy a car on finance…

If you looking to buy a car on finance I would highly recommend , I was met by Kate Smith on arrival.
What a lovely lass , very knowledgeable so friendly and really put me at ease ,Kate was able to show me cars in my prixe range , sorted my finance at not at any stage did I feel uncomfortable,even took me out for a test drive there wasn't anything that wasn't to much trouble , I drove away with my new car in days.

Collection of my car was very smooth…What a superb customer service

Collection of my car was very smooth and the customer service provided by the agent was superb. She put in a call to me the day before the collection to check that all is in order. This call saved me from going to the wrong branch due to my absence minded when reserving the car. The collection process went very smoothly and made the experience an enjoyable one. Thank you.
