Unlike most insurance yours stayed pretty much the same instead of going lots higher. This for me with the ease of taking out is the way to keep customers. (Let's see if I ever need to claim... See more

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS — AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!
This has to be one of the most utterly incompetent and customer-hostile businesses I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
Trying to actually speak to somebody is an absolute nightmare. Their chat, WhatsApp and telephone services seem almost deliberately designed to prevent customers from getting through to a human being. I wasted most of an entire day trying to get hold of someone. And then, to add insult to injury, their chat is cancelled if you don't respond within a pathetic ONE MINUTE AND FORTY SECONDS. What sort of ridiculous customer service system is that?
I took out a Classic Car Insurance policy with them, only to subsequently discover that they couldn't cover my next vehicle because it was considered too modern. Fine — things change, so I cancelled the policy within the 14-day cooling-off period.
That's where the real joke begins.
Despite cancelling within 14 days, they still took money from me in fees and a charge for the period of risk/cover. After the complete nightmare of trying to communicate with them, being charged on top of it was the final insult.
The whole experience has been an absolute shambles from beginning to end. Non-existent customer service, ridiculous communication channels, impossible-to-reach staff and charges that leave you feeling completely ripped off.
Quite frankly, I have never experienced such a circus trying to deal with an insurance company. They were more than happy to take my money, but actually getting someone to answer a question or resolve an issue? Apparently that's asking far too much.
My advice is simple: steer well clear. There are plenty of insurance companies out there — why put yourself through this level of aggravation?
An absolutely appalling experience. I wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole.

The initial annual insurance for my campervan was a reasonable price of around £300 for the year. However, due to many mechanical issues with my van, it went back to the the trader.
I therefore informed Motor Vision Insurance that I no longer had my campervan & was told that I had 14 days to find a new vehicle or the insurance will be cancelled.
As I was on holiday for most of that period, & because I had such a previous bad experience in buying a campervan, I didn’t want to rush into getting a new one. I also never had time.
I received a text message from Motor Vision Insurance whilst I was away telling me to ring them. Which I did when I got home. They were very curt on the phone asking me “why have you rung us?” I reminded them about the text they had sent me. They said that my insurance would be cancelled unless I had a new vehicle the following day and that I would have to inform subsequent insurance companies that I’d had insurance cancelled. This would obviously affect future policies & most likely increase costs.
I then questioned why they would do this as I hadn’t done anything wrong? I was then told that the only way to avoid it would be cancelling the insurance myself. I therefore knew what was coming. Me cancelling my insurance would result in a financial penalty.
The unfriendly customer service staff on the phone then worked out my refund. Initial cost of £300. Days insured 111 (less than a third of the year) minus a £75 for ME ‘cancelling’ the insurance. Total refund calculated at a whopping £9!!! What a bunch of crooks.

My second year with Motor Vision Insurance, they beat all the quotes from other companies for the same policy. Easy online process.

When I finally got to speak to someone, they were very pleasant and resolved my issues quickly.
The robot did not understand English and was extremely obstructive.
There was no easily located contact phone number on the web pages.

An acceptable renewal quotation was processed easily.

One of the best companies I dealt before. All issues are sorted out without any delays. The price is very reasonable. My advice for everyone to use this company.

No worries. Goes ahead OK. With no accidents occurring in the year getting some money back would be good and keep us with you again.

The email was so easy to respond to and last year when my van broke down it was so easy to contact the insurers and get it sorted out and price is very good
