As always, MHE ran a very professional and enjoyable night of Ghosthunting at York museum last night. I was greeted by the lovely Reece at the entrance and once inside the location, the wonderful Rachael was on hand to guide me on where I needed to be. Jenny made sure the whole evening was scheduled to perfection and Karl and Stu were as entertaining as always with their knowledge of the paranormal, their humour and friendly banter. What a brilliant bunch of people. Highly recommend

Really good experience the whole team are amazing really friendly and helpful karl and Stuart absolute gentlemen very friendly and approachable pictures and signed pictures a really great experience for a fan like myself and my girlfriend the location ( Shrewsbury Prison) was great the experience is what you put into it staff say it alot but it's true it's your night 👻

After going to various locations I come across the MHE for croxeth hall the event was shorter than i would have preferred (9pm -1am) to begin with but I excepted it was slightly cheaper than other places and went with it. In truth the event didn't start until gone 9.30pm and was more like 10pm by the time we got set up. At 11pm we then had to take a 30min break, personally, i would have preferred not to stop given how little time we had. The so called 2nd half of the eve lasted approximately 30 min before we where then given the opportunity to go on our own for a little bit..great i thought, i much prefer that, only to find that the building was being locked up well before 1am and areas where becoming restricted. Upon signing out at 1am as one of the last to leave i noted people had started to go around 12.30am probably because there was a sense of thats all folkes...imo this was not good value for money and although the team was nice enough the general structure of the event had a lot to be desired. I will definitely not be going back to a MH event as it feels very much like a money exercise for not much return...i raised no complaint at the time and was polite throughout as i knew it wasn't the teams fault but there was no scientific experiments here in a controlled environment it was a free for all mostly. In addition to this there must have been approx 40 people at this event, team 2 was sent to the attic, team 1 somewhere else but i never did find out as we never had the same opportunity...there was far too many people there 20 would be plenty.

Went to Guy's cliffe house last night.

It was clear none of the organisers knew anything about the house, the history, the ghost sightings or EVEN WHAT THEY'RE OWN EQUIPMENT DID?!

I was singled out because I was skeptic and one of the organisers decided to launch a personal attack on me questioning if I was calling her a liar. She kept asking me how I would explain the EMF meters on the floor going off (apart from the fact she was stood next to them with a walkie-talkie) I found it interesting she kept asking me to explain it but couldn't explain what her own equipment did. Simply referring to one of the lights as 'a thing that measures atmosphere' and when asked what in the atmosphere, she said just the atmosphere.

She then kept shouting 'ill empty my pockets then'.

Needless to say, nothing paranormal happened all night. And I'm gutted because rather than hearing about the history of a truly fascinating building, I watched 4 fully grown women distract a room, where the average IQ was below 70 with a bunch of sparkly lights in the dark. And one organiser channeling a possessed Derek Acorah when you dare claim to be a skeptic. The only fright I got all night was when her head nearly fell off.

Warwick Castle light show was 2 minutes down the road, half the price and you got a tour. Don't waste your money.

Very disappointed with most haunted. We booked to go to two events but then my partners mum was on end of life and unfortunately she passed away. When we cancelled the two events there was no reply back. Seems like they just want your money.The two dates were the 23rd September 2023 and 30th September 2023.

I’ve been to two MH events over the past 5years. The second event seem to have to many people also very unorganised & relatively poor in comparison..( I really feel its all about making money rather than quality) Would be nice to have individual members of the MostHaunted team taking the session rather than volunteers that don’t seem to have the motivation, Really needs more of a organised structure to the session’s.

Thanks for your reply Jenny.. Really I didn’t know you needed to ask what structure the events were.. (free rein events or structured) I’m sorry I found the event disappointing my expectations were quite high.. It just seemed all over the place.. I’ve also been ghost hunting with Hysteria (Ian lawman) was representing the events.. I must say they were extremely well organised.. I’m just making comparisons with other groups., hope I don’t offend you with my constructive criticism

if you look at other reviews on your Trust Pilot page I think at lest two reviews are singing from my hymn sheet..

I had such a fantastic weekend ghost hunting with most haunted experience. The celebs and team members were all lovely, chatty and couldn’t do enough for you! They make you feel welcome, comfortable and safe from the minute you walk through the doors! Can’t wait for the next one.

We attended a ghost hunt at Colchester Castle, it was well organised, friendly guides and nice people in our group. It was a slow evening although we did have some noises, responses to questions and a door slamming.

Too many guests! I was recently at Shrewsbury Prison and whilst covid measures don’t need to be in place now, there were way too many guests to make this an enjoyable experience. In our group of approx 20, a number of people kept wandering off with their own equipment, the trouble with this is that it led to too much noise pollution as the things we were hearing could’ve been down to the other guests. Sadly the staff didn’t seem interested in trying to keep everyone together which resulted in just a total waste of time. My views on equipment mirror that of a previous review, I’ve had the opportunity to use so much more gadgetry with other ghost hunting companies, MHE should be ashamed of the rubbish they hand out. I’m surprised with the amount they charge that they can’t get some up to date equipment, or do the profits go into someone’s pocket I wonder? Out of the whole night we must’ve had just 2 hours of actual ghost hunting, the remainder was spent sitting around waiting. I won’t be doing another event any time soon with MHE.

I posted my review of this company on trip advisor, "Attended one of these events last weekend, it started so well, team were welcoming and friendly, and the snacks laid on were on a par with other events we have done, however as we sat there, we were shocked to see how many people were arriving, how you can properly investigate with so much noise pollution is beyond me. This seemed to be more like a meet the celebs, talking of who, they were obviously friendly and chatty ( too chatty as we sat there waiting to go), I was keen to chat with one of them but never got the chance, they were busy with regular guests!!
We came to see the location and to ghost hunt with the people who started all this off on tv years ago, Well at least we fulfilled one reason, if you could call it investigating with celebs its a stretch of the imagination, we saw them for around two minutes as they walked into our group and left rapidly. The MHE team are who you spend your time with not the celebs, possibly because there are too many guests to get around, not what I expected or paid for. Not a bad thing, some of the team appeared to be experienced investigators, yet some didn't know what they were doing. We heard some knocking and a door slammed, however with so many around it was impossible to say if it was genuine or someone just messing around.
The second vigil was pretty dull, we never investigated with the celebs, nor saw them again. The prison was good to look around in the dark but in future I would consider using a different company, As a previous review said, more of a cash making scheme than investigating, I know they do non celeb events but these are rarely at the big locations and to be honest I'd prefer not to pay the extra for the ghost hunting "with Celebs"" Sorry to see that they have not paid any attention to actual reviews from guests and the the latest reviews on here mirror those on trip advisor. Dick Turpin wore a mask at least, money grabbing at its best. My advise would be to avoid unless your a fan of sitting down in the base room half the night, and drinking tea because its "free"

Not sure where to start. I've been a regular for a number of years and been to many events. To begin with the events were great but lately there appears to be something happening within its own ranks which is causing many well-loved team members to leave. Odd that a few old faces remain which leads me to believe the whispers on the grapevine that there's a toxic element at its core. Most of the team are lovely however but there are a few who spend more time outside smoking or "schmoozing" up to the celebrities, wouldn't surprise me if there wasn't anything going on between half of them, it does all feel a little incestuous! Anyway, if you are wanting a meet & greet with the celebs of MH then these events are for you, although don't hold your breath at actually having much or any time with them. To be fair, Greg, Glen and Darren are lovely and they can't do enough for us guests, they spend all their night within the vigils, recently Glen stayed with our little group all night, only taking a break when we did. Karl, Stuart and Yvette however are barely seen anymore, majority of the time they stay at base room messing around and then they disappear at half time. If you're wanting a serious paranormal investigation, do not book with MHE. As I've eluded to already, some of the team are ok and have some knowledge of locations, other appear to be there for glory hunting rather than ghost hunting. The equipment, which is basic at best, consists of cat toys, K2 meters and temperature guns. Having been on a few ghost hunts with another company, we had the use of SLS cameras, static detection robots, geoports and much much more. If MHE want to be serious contenders in this field then they need to re-focus on the customer, up their game and cut out the cancer that's lurking within before it's too late.

Just wondering why there are two Most Haunted Experience TripAdvisor accounts? This one seems to only have the positive customer reviews and you interact with this one however the other 'Most Haunted Experience' had more wide ranging reviews that seem to offer a more honest account of customer experience. You stopped interacting with that one a while ago. We have had some good experiences with MHE over the years but it isn't the same now at all and we aren't the only ones to feel that way. Strongly recommend that you visit your other page 'Most Haunted Experience'. Also, be aware that customers are entitled to share their genuine feedback, in one of the low star reviews below you were quite aggressive in your comments to the reviewer. Yes, we know you are friends with Karl and the team but that shouldn't mean that people can't genuinely share their thoughts on their experience, you don't need to take everything so personally, As a business owner myself, customer feedback and reviews are always constructive in some way even if you don't agree with the comments made.

Last night both myself and my mum attended our very first Most Haunted experience event. In one word, Incredible.

From the offset, the staff were inviting and really friendly, spoiling us with goodies and treats, and the much appreciated tea and coffee facilities.

Me and mum got to meet Stuart, Yvette and Karl and it was honestly very humbling. They are genuinely the loveliest, most down to earth and soundest people. They had more than enough time for us, and we also got to have a photograph with them before the night began which was great, it was so surreal and I think I’m still in shock haha. I was sat down with the team conducting a seance, which I intend on bragging about for a long time.

As for activity, you really have to experience this for yourself. We had intelligent responses, footsteps, and even growls from the basement. A very strong sense of a negative entity resides down those steps.

I can confirm that after attending various other events, we would only book with Most Haunted events in future. We enjoyed it so much so, that we’ve already booked to join the team again in HMP Shrewsbury in February next year.

We can’t wait to see you all again, thanking all the team for being truly accommodating.

Done a weekend event at Ruthin Castle with the MHE team, as soon as we arrived we were greeted with smiling faces, all throughout the weekend the team always asked how the guests were, always friendly, chatty, bubbly! As a 1st time goer it was easy to settle in to the event! Can’t wait to go to another event soon & definitely recommend it to anyone 👍🏻

I would highly recommend MHE to anyone, whether a complete novice, or an experienced ‘ghost Hunter’, on your own or in a group. The team always make you feel really welcome and at ease and everyone is so friendly! You are encouraged to get involved as much as you want, but there is never any pressure and you can take things at your own pace. All of the team members are clearly dedicated to providing the best experience and Jenny makes you feel so comfortable from the minute you book your first event! Her dedication and passion completely shines through throughout the whole experience. The Celebs are always really down to earth and if you are a lifelong Most Haunted Fan (like me) then this is a must! They chat to you like an old friend, are always willing to answer any questions and have some of the best stories about their experiences! Every experience is so unique, but be warned they are addictive 😂.

Fantastic team who go out of their way to make your night great! Would definitely recommend them as a event to go to if you’re interested in the paranormal!

Absolutely brilliant!!! We have been on two most haunted experiences and have loved every minute. It's so well organised and everyone is super friendly. The guys who take you round are great they help you with the equipment and are there throughout. We heard footsteps and had some tapping. The cat balls lighting up when nobody was anywhere near and unbrellas moving. Also getting to meet Stuart and Carl is an obvious bonus!! Have two more experiences booked this year. If you are thinking about booking do it!! You won't regret it.
