Ringing bell like crazy at 9.00 on Friday morning
Ringing bell like crazy at 9:00on Friday morning. Went down in pyjamas. ( I am retired ). Some moron in hi vis with Morrison Data on it. Grunted something about ‘meter’ and seemed to be about to come in. No explanation or effort to identify himself , who had sent him and what his purpose was. I told him that he clearly wasn’t from the energy provider and to clear off. If he had genuinely been from Scottish Gas, he would have known that I had given my readings online a few weeks previously. Bills paid up to date. No reason for these jokers to be at anyone’s property. No letter or phone call to arrange an appointment . The last time one called, my wife let him in. Stood in hallway and didn’t even read metre box. When my wife called up to my son upstairs , the ‘meter reader’ hurried out the door. Suspect they are checking to see who has a smart meter. Ask yourself , why would they need to do that. The Energy companies have databases of who has smart meters. If they genuinely worked for the Energy companies they would have access to to it. Lot of people saying Morrison Data are legit. They may not ‘technically’ be breaking the law( although I’m not sure) but ‘Legit’?? Not in my opinion.
Knocked on the door this morning and…
Knocked on the door this morning and just said ‘gas reading’. I had no time to consent and just walked into the house without asking. Took the reading then left. I am a teenage girl who was home alone and this was terrifying.
Unprofessional meter reader for Morrisons data collection services
Knock on my door at 7.45am . Opened door to a supposed representative of Morrisons data service. Made no offer to show ID just said here to read your gas meter as he was half way through my front door. He was wearing Morrisons data service uniform. When asked why he needed to read my meter as I have a smart meter, said still had to come annually. Smart meter been in a few years and never had a meter reading yet. Read my meter then proceeded to tell me there was no name registered on account and who was my energy supplier. Told him I was with Eon and as I have online account his information was wrong. Turned out he shouldn’t even have been at my address… i opened my front door and told him to leave. I’m recently widowed and live alone and felt very shaken by this visit. Very unprofessional.
Unannounced knock on the door
Unannounced knock on the door, when I open the door he’s one foot in and just says ‘meter readings’ but I was so shocked that I didn’t confront or ask for ID. As a woman living alone and this is the first time this has happened, I was very shaken up by this. If he has explained where he was from and on behalf of X and provided the name of my energy supplier I would have felt more comfortable.

Fibre install has caused irreparable damage to our Grade II listed building. Despite residents coming out and telling the workman that he had to stop and was unable to continue due to not having permission, he became abusive and rude, and continued with the installation anyway.
It will be escalated to legal where the damage will be claimed for. Disgusting company with no respect for anyone or anything. This is not the first time we have had this problem, either.
Excellent engineer Denis Agyeman…
Excellent engineer Denis Agyeman persevered to put fault right. Was courteous and polite and cleaned up after himself. Super guy.

A man came onto my premises on my driveway looking around for something. No he hadn’t asked for permission to be on my property and didn’t seem to be bothered. I captured him on my video camera. Unprofessional
If I could give 0 I would
If I could give 0 I would. A guy came to my house yesterday unannounced and we did not answer so a card was left through the door. Then today he came back again and because we didn’t answer straightaway he walked into my car port and helped himself to the meters. Once we got to the door he said “I went and did it myself” at the time we were so surprised and intimidated that we didn’t confront him! I checked with my gas & electricity provider and they hadn’t sent them as they get smart meters. I am beyond fuming!

A van with Morrison services just blocks my driveway for 2 days I can’t get out of my house this is ridiculous
Stranger in your house, say NO
Guy in a high viz knocks on my door asks to come in to read my meter. Doesn't say who is is working for and I didn't care to ask. Flat answer was No.
He then asked if he could leave his card. Again I answered No. He left.
Disrupted my lunchbreak for no reason. I don't want these people around my house asking to come in. I suggest everyone just say No to them, and don't get into conversation. Waste of time this company.

Arrived unannounced and just doing things in my gas and energy meters. Very unprofessional, did not even try to knock on the door. When I confronted him, he did not tell the truth for the purpose of checking. He only said, he is working from the Morrisons data company. For me, who the hell this company checking such things within my property. It’s unacceptable. 😡
HAZARD ON THE ROAD. AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE.
Hey, one of your company car (FG24VWR) nearly crashed into me in a 50mph limit road (A63), as it suddenly pull out from a junction, and go across to outside lane.
Is it your company policy to crash into other?
Take a look of your reviews, and start fixing them; and stop crashing to other.

They arrived unannounced demanding to be let jn they are Intimidating and get ANGRY when refused access. Not a one off, three different agents in last couple of years have acted like this. No you are not entitled to come into my home without any notice or warning. No understanding that some customers are disbaled and vulnerable and need support engaging with people. Interactions with these bullies leave me anxious for the rest of the day.
Need serious training.
Moron delivered a card
Moron delivered a card, when I was out, asking for gas and electricity readings. There is no gas in the complex. The electricity meter for Economy 7 is accessible and clearly visible outside my apartment door. I have a smart meter. This has never happened before during the 12 years I’ve lived here. I have emailed my provider, Octopus, to ask whether they requisitioned this.
Another petty tyrant
Sat in his car opposite my house, looking at the house, started to get out then got back in as he saw me coming down the drive to get the bin in. He then wound the window down and took pictures of my house, turned around in an entrance opposite and was driving away as I deliberately took a picture of him. He stopped the car in the middle of the street and got out. I went and asked him what did he think he was doing, taking pictures of my house. He said he had been told to come and read the meter. He asked me if I wanted him to, I said no, I'd just read it two days ago, I knew it was low because we'd been away for a month and just about everything had been switched off - he left.
Had a card put through my letterbox…
Had a card put through my letterbox saying i need to give readings for both gas and electric. I go to their website, type in my address and click on "gas and electricity". Type in British Gas for the supplier. But it then only gives me the option to enter an electric reading. My electric isn't with British Gas, my gas is. Put in my electric reading in, even though obviously now the supplier is wrong, it just ended. No option to give a gas reading. Tried again, same thing. Only lets me put in an electric reading. Utterly useless. I'll now probably get a bill for 10 grand because British Gas think that's my gas reading. Why do they employ this joke firm to read my meters anyway? I never authorised them to send random people round to my house that don't even work for British Gas.
They are a nuisance
They are a nuisance . . . Came round and demanded that I let him into my house to take my Gas and Electricity meter readings even though I had submitted them both 8 days ago . . I told him I'd already given the readings but he still insisted . . In the end I basically told him to get lost !
Rude and aggressive person
Rude and aggressive person pressed my buzzer constantly for almost two minutes. Was rude to my neighbour. I WFH and was in a meeting and couldn't answer. No notice of this appointment was given, and I'd submitted meter readings to my supplier a week before.
I just had someone turn up at my door…
I just had someone turn up at my door asking to do a gas meter reading. This was unexpected and it wasn't a good time (the gas meter is in my garage, and I didn't want to go outside as I'm unwell and still in my PJ's). I simply said, "it's not convenient", he had a terrible attitude and walked off in a huff.
New gas and electric metre
Zainul Lalan came to fit a new gas and electric metre and he was very helpful and professional. He did an all round great job.
