Just got back from 10 days in Morocco
Okay, so my partner and I just did this amazing 10-day Morocco trip starting in Casablanca, and I'm still pinching myself! We basically hit all the good stuff - Marrakech's crazy markets (prepare to get completely lost), the gorgeous blue town of Chefchaouen (seriously, it's like Instagram came to life), and yes, we did the whole camel thing in the Sahara Desert.
Can we talk about that desert camp for a sec? Sleeping under more stars than I knew existed, waking up to sunrise over sand dunes - it's cheesy but honestly magical. And don't even get me started on Fez's medina... we wandered around for hours and I'm pretty sure we ended up in the same spice shop three times, but the guy was super sweet about it.
The riads we stayed in were incredible - think beautiful courtyards, rooftop terraces perfect for morning coffee, and that authentic Moroccan vibe you see in movies. Our guide was a lifesaver too, helping us haggle (badly) and making sure we didn't accidentally offend anyone with our tourist moves.
Ten days was the sweet spot - enough time to really soak it all in without feeling like we were rushing from place to place. If you're thinking about it, just do it! Morocco's got this perfect mix of adventure and chill that's perfect for couples.
