Really unhappy with the way I was…
Really unhappy with the way I was treated by these people. I had a booking. I asked what the cancellation policy was and they answered but also cancelled my booking. I told them that I didn’t want them to cancel. Told me that it wasn’t their problem and reach out to broker. They would not help me. So ended up having terrible experience with this company and doyouspain

We have reviewed your reservation, and it was you who informed us that you wanted to cancel your trip and your reservation. All of this is recorded in our database, and you were clear about it. You made the reservation through Doyouspain and also canceled it with them. Later, you indicated that you wanted to reactivate your reservation, but since it was a booking that did not come through our website, we cannot manage it.
However, you still gave us a 1-star rating. In any case, it would be nice if Trustpilot also allowed rating clients.

Excellent service, I’ve booked a car from them with fly&drive service for 3 days and everything was great , the car was very nice and in very good condition. Definitely recommend .

Totally professional bunch, probably the best car-hire outfit I've dealt with in 20+ years of hiring cars throughout Europe. Couldn't fault them and you'd be mad to go anywhere else if you're using Alicante Airport.

10/10 would do again
This was such a smooth hire car service. I am Australian and they were beyond helpful with everything and beautiful car. Very attentive to text messages and all questions the pick up and drop of was great. Everytime I called I had a perfect English speaking person. I would definitely recommend to a friend or family.

The communication was great from the start and the staff lovely
The communication was great from the start, the online confirmation process was easy, communication on pick up was great(all done by WhatsApp) and made for little delay in being picked up. The check out process is very professional, they take pictures of the car and forward these to you so you all have a reference for check in time at the end of the rental. The bonus is the staff at Alicante are lovely and helpful.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with your policy requiring a boarding pass for the day of rental.
I am arriving on December 29th and picking up the car on January 1st. Your requirement to have a flight on the exact day of car collection is absurd and discriminatory against travelers who stay in hotels before renting.
This policy is hidden and unacceptable for a professional car rental company.
Gladly they refunded me before everything happened.

Our policy regarding the requirement to have flights linked to the rental is completely clear and in no way hidden. In fact, at the moment you made the booking without including the flight details, an automatic email was sent to you informing that flights are an essential requirement in order to proceed with the rental.
We understand that this condition may seem illogical to you, but it is a non-negotiable internal policy for us. As you correctly mentioned, the refund was processed quickly and automatically, so you did not receive any service nor incur any cost on our part.

Only hire with a boarding pass???
Booked online via Discover Cars (as I have done for many other rentals) it was for a car rental for that same day for a week long rental. I recieved a phonecall within 5 mins of completing the application, they asked for my flight number/boarding pass, I was already in Alicante so didn't have one, they said because of this they were unable to fulfill the rental. There has been no refund, so it cost me a weeks rental for them to make a 30 second phone call to me. This is not a good business ethic. Now after scanning through all the fine print, it does say that you need a flight number, although when filling in the form it wasnt mandatory. You'd think considering it took no time, effort or paperwork on their part that they would refund the rental, but No. I certainly wouldn't recommend this company. I happily and easily used Click Rent to get a rental in Alicante after this.
Having seen their other responses to 1 star reviews I wouldn't be surprised if they claim they dont know me...

We provide an exclusive airport service, and we do not deliver vehicles without a valid flight number that matches the return date of the vehicle. We called you immediately in order not to disrupt your plans
It is also important to clarify a few points:
Moovers cannot refund any amount that it has not charged, and in your case the reservation and payment were made entirely through Discover Cars, a platform that is completely independent from Moovers.
The conditions clearly state that a flight number is required for the delivery of the vehicle, meaning this information was available before confirming your reservation.
We understand that an experience like this can be frustrating, but in this case you rated us with one star without having booked directly with us or having used our services, which results in a review that does not reflect our actual operation.
