Avoid Moose – Defective Product & No Customer Support


I bought a scooter from Moose in November as a gift. It arrived defective, and I had to return it. I opted to upgrade to the Flex model, but this replacement also developed charging issues.

Since then, I’ve sent multiple emails to their customer service and have been completely ignored. Their website is currently down, which suggests they may have gone into administration or are experiencing serious, unannounced issues.

Either way, this is unacceptable. The lack of communication, faulty products, and silence from the company is deeply unprofessional.

Do not spend your money here. I would strongly advise others to avoid Moose entirely.

I bought an I bought a pure electric…

I bought a pure electric scooter six months ago and now a fault is appearing on it and this is bad behaviour from the company. We have a scooter and it’s not working now and I don’t think that should be happening. Thank you also please get back to me.

Bought a scooter off them my daughter…

Bought a scooter off them my daughter had it a week and it started playing up where it was hit and miss at turning on, so I contacted moose and they told me to send it back in the original packaging. I bought this for xmas so the box got damaged moose said they would send me another box for £15 to which I paid for and didn't receive, whilst waiting for this box the scooter stopped working all together so I have tried to contact moose in various ways and no response. Now the warranty is off the scooter I have no box and no working scooter so all in all moose is a shambles of a company and need to be avoided.

Faulty product

Purchased a scooter for a Christmas present from this company with it braking after several hours of use sent it back and it came back broken again messaged the company every day for 10 days and still no response won’t reply back to my messages do not use this company as it’s obviously a scamming website sells faulty products

Absolutely disgusting customer service

Absolutely disgusting customer service.
Bought an electric scooter. It broke 3 months later (battery) it was fixed and sent back, 5 months later it has stopped working again. It’s only 9 month old!!
I have tried to contact Moose via email, phone and live chat every single day for more than a week and have not had 1 reply. It may be that they can’t help but a response to confirm either way would be the least I would expect.

Please can someone contact me.

Avoid moose at all costs

Do not use this site i bought my scooter didn't work took 1 month for reply off moose sent the scooter back an haven't had a reply since it's took 3 months to get my money back luckily u used clear pay or ad still be trying now please do not use this site I strongly recommend finding a different shop

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company. I have returned the scooter and they have stopped replying to my email and I did not get a refund.

SCAM!

I have been trying to get in touch over 2 weeks now.

Terrible experience with faulty item

If I had wrote this review before problems arise it would of been a solid 5* review. The scooter worked for approximately 5 weeks. The screen is now flickering and it won't charge or turn on. I struggled to contact FedEx myself to arrange the return. Sonya said she would do it. Left it a week and no-one came for it.

I managed to get a return label finally, FedEx picked it up. Two days later I got a call from someone sounding like a typical scammer about the delivery and how it couldn't be delivered back to Moose. I was wary and emailed Sonya and Heidi multiple times as I was confused. The next day I get tracking from FedEx that showed it was on its way to Moose but then a notification saying it couldn't be delivered! And that it's on its way back to me. Still no contact from moose!

It's been days. I have read a lot of reviews and whilst the 5* reviews are probably true, they do not care if you have a faulty item and will just ignore you.

I am now stuck with a faulty scooter that is still under warranty and there has been no contact from moose over this.

Also the company only seems to comment on 5* reviews not the ones where people have issues.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. A full week of waiting in after doing a return on a faulty scooter. Requested they take over organising return Sonya advised she had and yet again no uplift. I have requested refund. I have requested a call back. I’m beginning to think it’s bots I’m dealing with the customer care is very bad.

Moose no longer trading had a call from ridezero - basically no help what do ever
Scooter is missing ! No refund
He suggested a repair discounted for a scooter they can’t find ! Madness

Poor after sales…

Purchased a cucle light that has been faulty. Tried contacting this company via their chat room, left our email address nobody came back to us. Tried emailing and no reply. No phone number advertised to call them. Guess we just have to right purchase off as as dud. Just be aware their after sales is non-existent.

Customer support non existent

I ordered a gear cassette from them and it was not only the wrong cassette ie it was a 7 speed not a 9 speed but, communication to resolve the issue is derisory. Despite numerous communication via their own help form they have completely blanked me since. Absolutely would NOT use this company again. Buyer beware.

Poor Customer Service

I wanted to return my item, it was over Christmas and it would have been slightly over the 14 day return window by the time my return reached Moose. I email them to check that this would be OK, in my experience most online retailers would be absolutely fine with this. However Moose did not reply and have continued to ignore me despite me mailing them again and again. Thankfully it was only a £25 part and not hundreds on a Scooter.
