The worst customer service ever…
The worst customer service ever received.
We chartered a boat in May 2021... I've reached out to the Mooring several times via phone and email to discuss the issues...as of today still NO response! Below is the email with all the issues I've sent to them.
"I’m writing to let you know of the issue we had with our charter. We had originally reserved a 0-1 year old boat but due to covid you had to change us to a 1-3 year old. The boat we got was more like a 3 year+ old boat. I’m not sure if it actually was but it sure looked like it and seeing/having all the issues I knew it was older.
Issues:
1. We paid for two Kayak’s. They only had one.
2. We paid for two Paddle boards. We received none. (base said they didn’t have any.)
3. They said we had a spare full propane tank. The spare was empty and the one that was hooked up ran for the first two times we cooked.
4. The generator broke down with an overheating issue. Once we got to Staniel we reached out to the base no answer for first three attempts. Got in touch with Chubby as I remembered he was the guy and I explained issue. It was an overheating issue either the water pick up or the impeller was bad. Chubby asked if I had a spare of each because without spare parts chubby said he really count do anything. So we spent the next hour looking through the boat in which we found a spare impeller but no water pickup. Finally got in touch with the base by phone and I explained the issue, but the person who answered said they would pass the message on. Once we located a spare impeller, Chubby was great he came right out checked the pickup which was fine and then ended up changing out the water impeller, which was the issue. All in all we lost most of the day dealing with that issue.
5. The dingy lift was broken. Had to manually lift dingy up 4 ft up on to lift.
6. Both Port side toilets leaked. So the head floor was always wet with toilet water.
7. Starboard side stern shower. The shower pump was broken so we had water splashing around that head every time we moved. ( so we had 3 people that had to share the other starboard side head.)
We are looking for a substantial credit seeing that we paid for equipment that we either did not get or the equipment that wasn’t up to the standard we paid for.
